When you are afraid, don’t run. When you are afraid, don’t take decisions. Only very few people have time to think strategically; a lot a led by the herd mentality.
Fear is a serious disease of the heart and you must recognize it as such. Why? Because a fearful person is not in perfect love. (1 John 4:18). the bible passage also reveals another property of Fear- torment. Fear is a tormentor. The presence of fear is an indication that you have lost the presence of God. Psa. 23:4 – “yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”. The presence of God is the greatest antidote to fear.
Three Things People Fear Most
- Fear of death – the fear of death has driven many into evil covenants, many have signed away the destinies of their children yet unborn because of fear.
- Fear of sickness – the devil often suggests certain kinds of sicknesses to people, when he does, get very angry in spirit and confront it. A lot of Christians are not living the ascension life. This is because they never ‘died’ in the first instance, they never went to the cross. Fear is the flow of demonic supernatural while faith is the flow of divine supernatural. Everybody is connected to a flow. To what are you plugged? If you are plugged into the correct source of life, the Holy Spirit will not only flow through you, but out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water and whatever that river touches shall be made whole. On the cross, we died with Christ; when he was buried, we were buried with Him, when He was raised, we were raised with Him; and when He ascended, we ascended with Him and we are seated together with Him in heavenly places. This is the process. You cannot pray well until you have been to the cross. Are you still carrying the nature of your fathers? If you have been baptized by immersion, you are a new specie with the gene of the Holy Ghost.
- Poverty – You must break away comprehensively from idolatry. It has nothing good to offer. Idolatry brings poverty and suffering. Generational curses are real and the only way to break them is to ensure that you are firmly in the Lord; consolidated in Him. In your relationship with Jesus, you should not have one leg in Gilgal and the other one in Egypt. You must burn the bridge. Many have sold their soul to the devil in their bid to get money.

It is good to have money as Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. In Christ, we are redeemed from all the things that people fear.Christians should be the most joyful and prosperous people on earth but the question is, are they?
How to confront fear
- Understand that fear is the flow of demonic supernatural while faith is the flow of divine supernatural.”Fear knocked on the door, Faith answered“. You must confront your fears with faith.
- Repent of every thought that comes from fear.
- Deal with the entry point. Close the gate.
- Raise the blood of Jesus against the spirit of fear; be specific- fear of failure, untimely death etc.
- Matt 18:18- bind the spirit of fear. Jesus has given us the power. To bind means to disallow.
- Jude 20 – learn to pray in the Holy Ghost. Enjoy the presence of the Holy Ghost. Pray in tongues. When you build the muscle of faith, you weaken the power of fear.
- Be a worshipper – learn to magnify God in your heart, enjoy worship. Be a carrier of the presence of God. Be addicted to His presence. Let this be your lifestyle.
- Cultivate friendship with the Holy Spirit. Partner with Him. If you do, you will become a terror to the kingdom of darkness.
PRAYERS
- I repent of every thought that has ever brought fear to my life; every thought of the negative supernatural, I repent and ask for mercy in Jesus Name.
- Dear Heavenly father, connect me irreversibly to the flow of the power of your presence in Jesus name
- Heavenly Father, open my eyes to every entry point of fear in my life; anything that has given fear access to my heart and grant me the grace to shut them out of my life in the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Use the key of David to shut every entry point of fear in your life.
- I raise the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth against you spirit of fear operating in my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, empower me to take delivery over all my blessings that the enemy has tampered with because of fear- i take dominion over fear in Jesus name
