YOUR WORD FOR TODAY

O B E Y  H I M

”But if you are careful to obey Him, following all my instructions;  then I will be an enemy to your enemies.  For my angel  shall go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, to live there; and I will destroy those people before you”. (Exo 23: 22-24 TLB)

The bible is a book of decisions.  Every blessing in the word of God is predicated on ”If”.  Decisions determine destinations.  Obedience is one of the most potent weapons of spiritual warfare.  I believe the greatest decision one can make this year is to be complete in obedience to the word of God (Divine instructions).  The instruction you follow determines the future you create.

When man fell in the garden of Eden, his will became united to the will of edenic snake, in opposition to the will of God.  This explains why man finds it difficult to obey the word of God. Every tragedy in life is traceable to this union.  Someone defined SIN as: Simple Instruction Neglected.  Thank God, Jesus  gave us power to crush the snake (Lk 10:19).  Get the snake out of your way. Unite your will with that of Jesus Christ, and see God take over your battles.  Your enemies will automatically become God’s enemies.

Inspite of the Amorites, Hittites, Perrizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites (confederation of evil forces), you will make it to the promised land.

P R A Y E R

Dear Heavenly Father, in your mercy forgive me of all the wrong decisions I have ever made.  In your Sovereignty graciously declare me not guilty, and with the precious blood of your dear Son Jesus Christ, blot out all my transgressions.  From now on grant me the grace to be complete in obedience to all your instructions.  By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I overcome any contrary power that compels me to choose wrongly.  I overcome it in Jesus Name.  By faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, God’s Son I press  into the fullness of the blessings of obedience. Thank you so much, Lord Jesus. Amen.

May the Lord utterly destroy all the confederated forces of darkness fighting against the purpose of God in your life and grant you comprehensive dominion in Jesus Name. Amen.
