” If you are angry, don’t sin by nursing your grudge. Don’t let the sun go down with you still angry – get over it quickly; for when you are angry you give a mighty foothold to the devil.

If anyone is stealing he must stop it and begin using those hands of his for honest work so he can give to others in need.” (Eph 4:26-28 TLB)

The devil does not need more than a foothold to take complete possession of those that allow him. If an individual can accommodate six thousand (legion) demons, it means he does not really need much room to operate. Every journey to full demonic possession begins with just a foothold.

Paul did not write that to sinners. He wrote that to Spirit – filled saints of God in the church at Ephesus……… and that applies to christians today. It is possible to give devil an open door into your life. It also implies he can’t take any place unless you let him.

We have been delivered out of satan’s authority through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has absolutely no power over us unless we give him place in our lives. According to Apostle Paul:

”We are praying, too that you will be filled with his mighty glorious strength so that you can keep going no matter what happens – always full of the joy of the Lord, and always thankful to the Father who has made us fit to share all the wonderful things that belong to those who live in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of satan’s kingdom and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son, who bought our freedom with his blood and forgave us all our sins.” (Col. 1:11-14 TLB)

Our redemption is a present reality, Glory to God! We are redeemed and satan has no dominion over us.

P R A Y E R

Appreciate God for calling us out of darkness and translating us into the kingdom of His Dear Son.

Give Him all the glory and adoration.

Ask God to mercifully overlook all your iniquities and blot out all your transgressions

especially with respect to the sins of: anger,wrath, malice, strife, unforgiveness,

resentment, worry, doubt, fear, anxiety……

Appropriate the cleansing ministry of the blood of Jesus.

Proclaim your comprehensive dominion over sin, self, satan and all his agents.

Rededicate your life to Jesus.

Celebrate Jesus Christ
