TRUTH ABOUT THE ANTICHRIST
8b. The whole earth shall worship the antichrist and Satan his master. The only people that will not worship him will be the tribulation saints. Rev. 13:3-4 “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
A close look at the world today reveals that people worship things. As a matter of fact, you will notice that misplacement of value – the worship of the creature above the creator actually started in Eden. How? Worship means worthship, placement of value on your relationship with the Almighty. The creator wants us to place value on our relationship with him. He is still looking for those who will worship him in spirit and in truth. Adam fell because he did not place enough value on his relationship with God instead he placed value on the word of the snake. God spoke but the snake, a creature, gave a counter instruction and man, the object of God’s love, instead of listening to the word of God chose to listen to the word of the creature. Idolatry is nothing but the worship of the creature above the creator.
Today, people place all manner of things side by side and above God in their heart. Today, people are looking for a God to use to get things and not for a God to worship for who he is. In fact, today, people are looking for a God that will serve them. Where do people place the things of God in their heart today? The greatest thing that people chase on earth today is money. You must come to a point in your life where you will be able to say ‘No’ to every appearance of evil. It is very easy to bow. Never you forget that it is the Christ in you that is your hope of glory. You must guard jealously the Christ in you; you must pay attention to the Christ in you because that is what the devil strives to attack, he wants to rubbish your testimony. The way the world is structured today is not preparing the average Christian for the rapture. This is very painful. The average Church programme is not preparing Christians for the rapture and any message that is not preparing you for the rapture hates you.
You must purpose in your heart like Daniel not to compromise. Because of his resolve not to compromise, Daniel made an indelible impression on the king of Babylon that made the king to acknowledge his God. The Church must get back to the basics. You must learn to forsake all and cleave to Christ. It is an anomaly to be chasing things that should be chasing you. Remember that worship is not what you do but who you are.
