DOMINION OVER DARKNESS (PART XV) CONFRONTING WITCHCRAFT (PART 3) HOW TO BREAK THE POWER OF WITCHCRAFT OVER YOUR LIFE

Witchcraft power is nothing before the power of the Almighty God. Never you magnify the power of the enemy above the power the Almighty. Once your consecration is complete and your divine connection is perfect, it is no longer about you, it is about the authority that God himself has given you in Luke 10:19 – dynamic power, Dunamis, Exousia – it is delegated power. It is power to stand on behalf of Christ. That is what makes us Christians. If someone is looking for Jesus and finds you, they should have found Christ.

The only thing that should defeat you is something that can defeat Christ and that thing does not exist. He routed principalities, powers and made a show of them publicly and triumphed over them all. This is only possible if you connect to Christ comprehensively. Remember that Heb. 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever”. Sovereign authority and almighty power belongs to Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Learn to magnify his almightiness. Occasionally, just sit down and meditate on the almightiness of God. He is bigger than your problems, challenges, witches and satanists. You need to know that you are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory. It is through him that we shall do valiantly, it is through him that we are more than conquerors. Dominion is not through the lion but through the Lamb. Every creature will worship the Lamb. The moment the Church started belittling the message of the cross, the church started getting weak. There is no dominion outside the cross of Christ. The cross is the symbol of dominion and not the lion as is being portrayed by many today. Where the cross will take you, no lion can get there according to Isa. 35:9 “No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there”. Return to the cross. Witches use the power of enchantment to make evil decrees but no curse can cross the cross of Christ. It is the blood of Jesus that will shield you. You must understand this and carry it into your spiritual warfare and when you are going to bed every night.

3. Learn to use the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. Phil. 2:9-10 “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”. If it has a name, it must have a knee and if it has a knee, it must bow because of Jesus. Even the challenge facing you, does it have a name? If it has a name, it must have a knee and if it has a knee, it must bow at the mention of the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus gives you access to his Lordship. When I call the name of Jesus, it is no longer about me. Name talks about presence so when I call the name of Jesus, I step aside for Jesus to manifest. After the miracle at the beautiful gate, people marveled at what had happened but when Apostle Peter saw them, “he answered unto the people, ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? Or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? … and his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all” Acts 3:12-16. Faith in the name of Jesus. Faith is placement of value – placing value on your relationship with God. How much value do you place on the name of Jesus?

One beautiful thing about the name of Jesus is that the more it produces in your life, the more the value you place on it; the more excited you get and the more faith. Faith is in sizes. There is faith in Christ and there is the faith of Christ. Gal. 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”. What is the difference? Faith in Christ is faith that I put in him while faith of Christ is the faith that Christ has. In essence, what my faith cannot carry, the faith of Christ should. The problem is that we like fighting too many battles on our own as if we are superhuman. Nobody likes the word – submission – but that is where the power lies. Everybody wants to be a lion because they think that it is their spiritual gymnastics that get things done. The reason why people are so confused is because of the Scripture in Rev. 5:5 which says, “And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof”. The Lion of the tribe of Judah referred to in this scripture is one of the titles of Jesus pronounced by an elder but the nature of Christ is the nature of the Lamb. It was the lamb that was slain that actually opened the book (see Rev 6:1). There is no short cut to submission. If you want to have dominion, you must learn to submit to God before you can resist the devil. It is only after you submit that you can resist the devil and he will flee from you.
