IN THE NAME OF THE LORD

Text: Psa. 118:10-19

According to Psa. 24, Jesus is the Lord of lords, the King of glory, the LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle and the LORD of hosts. How did he become the Lord of lords? The Bible says, “wherefore God hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” Phil. 2:9-10.

In order to fulfil his ministry, Jesus was complete in obedience, he surrendered his will to the will of the Father to the extent of dying on the cross. This is the missing point today; people want to manifest lordship but they don’t want to walk in obedience; they want to manifest the lion of the tribe of Judah but they don’t know that the nature of Jesus is the nature of the Lamb that stooped in order to conquer, the Lamb that was so meek and humble that he was slain. People want to get to ascension but they don’t want to go to the cross; they want to live the ascension life but they don’t want to live the crucified life. Without crucifixion, there cannot be ascension. This is the secret of comprehensive dominion. The cross that was meant to be a symbol of shame is now the symbol of comprehensive dominion.

If you want to have comprehensive dominion, you need to learn to live the crucified life; Mr flesh must die. Jesus said you cannot be my disciple until you learn to deny self and carry your cross daily and follow me. (Luke 9:23). The cross is the place where Mr Self is crucified; that is where you crucify the old nature, the adamic nature that works corruption in the world. There has to be an escape from the corruption in the world if you want to live in the realm of the supernatural. According to Rev. 5, all creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth will worship the Lamb. If you don’t know the nature of the Lamb, you have missed the way and whoever misses the way has missed heaven. The Holy Spirit cannot flow in unbroken vessels, those who have not been to the cross. There is no comprehensive success without the cross.

Pray – Lord, I come to the cross and lay all my struggles at the feet of the cross. I yield my will to your will and exchange all my weaknesses for your strength, I exchange all my struggles for your rest, I exchange my humanity for your divinity, I exchange my foolishness for your wisdom, I exchange my unrighteousness for your absolute righteousness, I exchange my nature for your divine nature, I exchange my pride for your humility. Jesus, please help me. Lord, I ask that you flow through me this year. Anyone that sees me, may he see Christ in me. Let the glory of God shine through me this year in the name of Jesus. Help me to be broken, help me to be meek, help me to walk with you this year. Lord, I take up your name; through you, I shall do valiantly, in Jesus name.

Verse 10 – “All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.” No matter what the enemy has done, no matter the threat or challenge that is confronting you, there is a key that can unlock every gate of blockade against you – “In the name of the Lord.” When I say, in the name of the Lord, then it is no longer me, it means I am stepping aside, it means my personality is being subsumed; completely swallowed up in the Lord. With this revelation, you need to come against certain things affecting your life in the name of the Lord.

Apostle Peter in Acts 3:16 said “and his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong” after the healing of the lame man at the Beautiful Gate. It was faith in the name of Jesus that healed the lame man. When you come in the name of the Lord, you are coming in the name of the Lord of host of heaven, of the earth and of hell; the Lord of all and the Lord in all. If it has a name, it must have a knee and if it has a knee, it must bow at the name of Jesus.

When you say, in the name of Jesus, it is no longer you, it is the Lord’s connection that gets the job done. There is an anointing of Lordship in the name of Jesus and the way to release that anointing is to come in the name of the Lord. Physically, David was no match for goliath, but while goliath came against him in the name of his gods and in his armour, David came in the name of the God of Israel whom Goliath defied and of course the Lord won the battle. This year, be more aggressive in the use of the name of the Lord.

Pray – All the powers that have ever fought against the purpose of God in my life, in the name of the Lord, I destroy them, any power that has ever fought against me in the dream, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed . Evil altars fighting against the purpose of God for my life, in the name of the Lord, I destroy them, marine powers, witchcraft powers, in the name of the Lord, I destroy them. Every anti progress spirit fighting against the purpose of God in my life, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed , every blockade, every evil pursuer, every anti-miracle power, every agent of darkness unleashed against me, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed .

Every programme of hell concerning 2019 with respect to my family, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every satanic alliance working against the purpose of God for my life, every evil network working against the purpose of God for my family, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every instrument of bewitchment unleashed against me, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every programme of hell to bring shame and disgrace, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every agent of demotion, recession, poverty, scarcity, lack, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every evil hand of manipulation, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every evil familiar spirit, evil gate keepers, evil padlocks, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed.

Every satanic build up against my family, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every power of darkness targeting my blessings, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every agent of oppression; every territorial barrier to my miracle, every programme of doom and gloom, every programme of hardship, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every evil power on the throne of my blessing, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every satanic priesthood set against the purpose of God for my family, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. Every wicked power masterminding hardship in this nation, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. You power of curse, I destroy you in the name of the Lord.

Verse 12 – “They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.” The enemy does not fight in one front alone, because he wants to intimidate you. He goes and gather other forces. The first thing he attacks is your faith knowing that if he succeeds, you will lose the power to overcome. It takes faith to overcome. Learn to come against goliath in the name of the Lord who knows no defeat. Remember that we are not fighting for victory; we are fighting from victory. Pray – no matter the amalgamation of the forces of darkness unleashed against me, in the name of the Lord, I destroy them.

• All the powers that have been unleashed to pull me down, your time is up, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. All the powers targeting my destiny, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed. All the powers targeting my fruits, in the name of the Lord, be destroyed.

Verse 14-15 – “The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation … the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.” Pray – The voice of rejoicing and salvation shall never cease in my home this year and forever in the name of Jesus.

• Let the right hand of the Lord do wonders in my life this year, let the right hand of the Lord produce miracles, signs and wonders in my home, in my business, in my ministry, in my finances, in this nation this year in the name of Jesus.

Verse 17 – Declare, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD” in the name of Jesus. I will not bury any of my loved ones this year, the mighty hand of the Lord shall sustain, protect, preserve and perfect all that concerns us, the mighty hand of the Lord shall provide for us and empower us to operate in the highest in the name of Jesus.

Verse 19 – Command every gate that the enemy has shut against you to open. Gates of nations, gate of financial breakthrough, gate of fruitfulness, gate of international scholarships, gate of blessings, gate of promotion, gate of supernatural abundance, gate of flourishing, gate of prosperity, gate of signs and wonders, gate of comprehensive miracles, gate of comprehensive success, gate of comprehensive dominion, open, and I will enter, in the name of Jesus.

Prophesy into this year – My joy shall be full. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord shall be praised, praise awaits God in my life this year. The Lord will harvest plenty of praise in my life this year. The Lord shall bless me and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. The Lord shall perfect that which concerns me this year, in the name of Jesus. All my enemies, beware! Amen.
