Since this year is our year of abundant life, I want you to see life from another perspective. It is because people don’t know the meaning of life that they celebrate the superficiality of naughtiness. When you don’t have the real, you will celebrate the fake. That is what is happening to most people.
Romans 8: 7 – ”Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be”.
How do you know the carnal mind? The carnal mind can simply be defined as an unregenerated mind. The mind that is in tune with the Adamic nature. It is a mind without the Holy Spirit. Everything it thinks about is about this life, what to eat, what to wear … The bible says that to be carnally minded is enmity with God. Without God there is no life. It is a mind governed by the flesh.
Pray – Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, regenerate my mind. I hand over my mind to you. Lord remove every carnality in my mind and put your spirit in my mind. I ask you to guide me by your spirit. Guide my thoughts this year, fill my mind with your Holy Spirit. Saturate my mind with your holy spirit and remove every carnality, in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit take possession of my mind, to the Glory and praise of the Almighty God, Amen.
Romans 8:8 ”So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God”.
They that are in the flesh cannot please God because God is a spirit and those that must worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Worship is placement of value. Your mind will be focused and centred on God if you actually value Him. Where your treasure is is where your mind will be. The devil likes to set people up in order to upset them. The only way to conquer this is to make sure that you are spiritually minded.
Pray – Lord, help me not to worship you in the flesh this year. Help me o God, in the name of Jesus Christ not to indulge in carnality this year. Help me o God to please you. Let my worship be in spirit and in truth. Make me a consecrated worshipper. In Jesus name.
Let all that I will do this year God be pleasing to you. Help me to offer you acceptable sacrifice, in Jesus name. Amen
Romans 8:9 ”But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his”.
Pray – Father I thank you because your spirit dwells in me. I celebrate the presence of your Holy Spirit in me. I yield comprehensively the totality of my being and I ask you to have your way. Brood over and take over, I belong to you forever in Jesus name. Amen.
Romans 8:10 ”And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”
Pray – Lord I thank you because I have Jesus Christ in me, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I thank you Jesus, I magnify your name. I belong to you, my destiny is secured in you. I declare that there is no condemnation for me, because I am in Christ Jesus. Thank you faithful God, In Jesus name. Amen.
Romans 8:11 ”But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you”.
We should carry so much life that we should be able to raise the dead. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of resurrection. The Holy Spirit is the spirit that quickens. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of abundant life. when you connect to the Holy Spirit through Christ who is the custodian of abundant life, and that life flows inside of you, dismantling and destroying every agent of death, you carry so much of this life that even when you are summoned by the covens of darkness to kill you, the voice of the blood of Jesus will thunder and say ‘no condemnation’. Because there is life in the blood of Jesus. You have dominion over death because the spirit of life is in you.
The spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the grave is the same spirit inside of you, and that spirit is the spirit of abundant life.
Pray – In the name of Jesus I have dominion over sickness, disease, hell, death. Through the blood of Jesus Christ, I walk in dominion all the days of my life. Abundant life is my portion, I will enjoy abundant life to over flow dimensions. Everything I touch shall be quickened, shall be healed. I will bear fruits, and my fruits will abide in the name of Jesus. Whatever I ask in the name of Jesus, my heavenly father will grant me this year. Thank you mighty God, in Jesus name. Amen.
