Holy Spirit as a Person comforts, teaches and reminds. John 14:26-27,
“But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:26-27
If you are looking for comfort, the Holy Spirit is your greatest source of comfort, nobody can comfort you better than the Holy Spirit because nobody knows you better than the Holy Spirit.
Pray – Precious Holy Spirit, I surrender to you today, I ask you to have mercy on me. In any way that you have been speaking and I have not been complying because I have not been hearing, I ask that you help me. Today, I ask that you open my spiritual ears that I may hear your instructions and grant me the grace to surrender to your will. I yield my will to your will, help me to be guided by you.
Holy Spirit, be my comforter, help me, I depend on you. Thank you, precious Holy Spirit. Please bring to my remembrance everything that I ought to do and things that I ought to do, help me henceforth to manifest Jesus Christ, help me to be a true witness of Jesus Christ. thank you, blessed Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. Quite a number of people are living a lie and the greatest lie is the one you tell yourself. The moment you start frolicking with people with contrary spirit, that spirit will rub on you and start following you. You have not started living until you have stopped lying. Every liar is a loser on his way to hell and it gets to a point where you begin to believe your own lie. Be careful and be guided by the Holy Spirit in all your undertakings.
Pray – Precious Holy Spirit, you are the spirit of truth, please fill me to overflowing. Reveal yourself to me. Reveal my heart situation to me. If there be any way that I am telling myself any lie, today, I repent and ask you to forgive me.
X-ray my heart and help me to do away with every appearance of evil and let every lie I have ever told myself dissolve and disappear. Help me to celebrate you, help me to celebrate truth and help me to hate every lying spirit in the name of Jesus. Make it impossible for me to lie again in my life, in Jesus name.
The Holy Spirit as a Person, guides. John 16:13,
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
John 16:13,
Holy Spirit’s guidance is one of the things we need most today because life is full of decisions. How can you navigate properly without the assistance of the omnipresent and omniscient One? It is such a wonderful privilege to be connected to somebody who knows the end from the beginning. That is why every intellectual rationalization will be subject to the sovereignty of the Holy Ghost. Several times, the Holy Spirit had told me to do things that at that time did not seem to make sense.
Exactly two years ago, a Sister put a distress call through to me that a young girl had just died and they were trying to revive her. When I communed with the Holy Spirit, he instructed that I should ask them to give the young girl water. I promptly passed on the message. But the intellectual in me took over and as I was walking out of the place where I took the call, I heard a voice say, what did you just ask them to do? I realized that it was another spirit that was trying to confuse me and I rebuked the spirit saying, well I have given them the instruction I was led to give. That instruction was carried out to the letter; the young girl’s mouth was forced open and water was administered, although the water stayed in her mouth for some time, but eventually she sneezed and came back to life. To the glory of God, that girl is still alive today. There were several other instances like this. Whenever the Holy Spirit asks you to do something, please, do it because your life may be dependent on that instruction. Those who argue with the Holy Spirit miss out of their miracle. Surrender to the Holy Spirit, allow him to take over. He is your best guide.
