Shedding innocent blood – Gen. 4:11, “And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand.” Today, we have the Cain company and the Abel company.
Touching of things dedicated to the devil. Remember the story of the all-conquering children of Israel, how they lost the battle of Ai because of an Achan in the camp who brought in a Babylonian garment. This has not changed. Anyone who is not serving a holy God is not serving the right God. Deut. 7:25-26, “The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them … neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.” 2 Cor. 6:17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”
Slavery – Amos 2:6, “Thus saith the LORD; for three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes.”
The Bible clearly states that wickedness attracts divine judgment in the form of a curse. Prov. 3:33, “The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.”
PRAYER
- Lord, please, help me, I am ready for your blessings. I renounce any form of disobedience, I am sorry and I plead for mercy. In any way that I have ever opened the gateway for any curse to begin to operate in my life, today, Lord, I repent and ask you to have mercy on me in the name of Jesus. Please forgive all my sins; every trace of disobedience, every trace of idolatry, every trace of evil inheritance, Father, forgive me in the name of Jesus. Separate me from anything that is of the devil in the name of Jesus. Please forgive any manifestation of pride in me in any form in the name of Jesus.
- In any way, Lord, that I have provoked my parents and they spoke against me, today, I repent, I am sorry, please forgive me and help me Lord to relate well with those that have authority over my life. Please help me to honour my parents according to your word and never to hold anything against them, in the name of Jesus. Grant me the grace to always provoke their blessings in Jesus name.
