There are two major forces in the Bible – blessing and curse.
Glory to God, according to Gal. 3:13-15, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.” We have an inheritance. the only way to access the blessings of Abraham is through Christ. Are Christians the only people that have the answer? YES! Why? Because that is what the Bible says and the Bible is the revealed will of God. The revealed will of God is the word of God and Jesus is the Word. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
This is God’s prescription for comprehensive success. The Bible says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” The Bible is not being superfluous here, there is good success and there is bad success. May you not succeed to fail in the name of Jesus. The only way not to succeed to fail is through the prescription of the One that spoke the world into existence, the One who said, “let there be light: and there was light.”
There is only one way to get out of the consequences of the three Ps of sin – the presence of sin, the power of sin and the penalty of sin, that way is Jesus Christ – the way of escape from any curse. Christ has broken the bondage of the enemy. He has reversed the curse, but if you do not act on the word, you can still remain under its result. Jesus Christ became a curse for you. Gal. 3:13-14.
- Surrender to Jesus – Jesus, I surrender my life to you, I surrender my past, present and future to you. I repent of every sin I have ever committed consciously or unconsciously and I appropriate the blood that you shed on Mount Calvary upon my life. I saturate my life with that precious blood that you shed. Have mercy on me, I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
