BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 3A)

God never promised his children a bed of roses, he never promised that his children will walk upon red carpet, what he gave us power to do is to overcome, he gave us power to crush, power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and power over all the power of the enemy. The Lord said, “but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33^b. God has empowered us to overcome and when I found out that the only people who are rewarded in heaven are overcomers, I decided not only to be an overcomer but to encourage others to overcome. That was how I found myself in the ministry. Many years back, someone came to intimate me with a very bad situation a particular Sister was passing through and that the Sister was in dire need of counselling. We arranged to see her and unknowingly to me, that was to be the beginning of this vibrant ministry of blessing and touching lives beyond borders. When we started praying for her, there were serious reactions; the spirits responsible for her situation manifested in no small way. However, the Lord gave us victory. Two decades have come and gone, that Sister is alive today, hale and hearty, to the glory of God.

Many people today doubt the existence of God because they have never experienced God; they question God’s existence with all manner of stupid postulations and theories. The Bible refers to such people as fools and of course, that is exactly what they are. But thank God that truth is simple, and if you agree with the truth, you will be blessed. The greatest truth is the truth of the word of God. John 17:17 says, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” What separates a fool from a wise person is truth or the absence of truth. Truth is simple, truth is clear, truth is consistent, truth explains all, truth is eternal. Truth does not need anything to lean on to be what it is.

God expects you to speak. It is because the Church is keeping silent that they have become so compromised and confused, it is because of the silence of the Church that the world is upside down. Part of the manifestation of the sons of God is in declarations. The sons of God will declare the word of God and recreate this world. We are left here as sons so that we can manifest, God expects his sons to manifest in reconstructing what the enemy has damaged and is damaging. Part of our responsibility as sons is telling the devil ‘thus far you come, you go no further’. A time comes when you must cry to God like the Psalmist and say, O God, keep not silent, arise, let your enemies be scattered, let your glory break forth, let your light shine.

PRAY: Heavenly father I worship you. I thank you for the wonderful gift of salvation through your Son – Jesus Christ. I proclaim that through the blood of Jesus God’s Son, I am an overcomer. I declare that through Christ I shall do valiantly. Grant me the grace to enter my allotted inheritance in Christ here and hereafter in Jesus’ Name. Amen
