BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 3B)

God gave us a model of how to recreate an unfavourable situation; he showed us how to recreate the world. The earth was without form, void and colourless. The first thing God confronted was darkness. And how did he confront darkness? “Let there be light”. He literally spoke the world into existence. You may be wishing to have a miracle which you have not even named, you desire a miracle which you have not called. If you don’t know the miracle, how can you call? Anytime I need a miracle; I start calling that miracle. It is a scriptural principle. God allowed the Holy Spirit to brood over the earth after which he spoke. The word of God in your mouth can recreate your world but if you keep silent, unfavourable situations will not shift.

Psa. 35:22-23 says, “This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgement, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.” We need to learn to use the word of God to confront any challenge that comes our way and it is in speaking it out that the power is released; it is in vocalizing the word and releasing it that the power lies. Pray –

  • Lord, I thank you because you have made everything I need to live successfully here and hereafter available in your word. Thank you, mighty God. I ask you to empower me by your spirit to always speak up your word and never to bow to any challenge in the name of Jesus.
  • I know that your word is powerful, I know that your word is creative, I know that your word can change my world, I know that there is no situation your word cannot change. Lord, I thank you and I celebrate the efficacy of your word. Thank you because you are faithful, you spoke the world into existence, you said, ‘let there be light’ and there was light. Thank you, faithful God, I bless and magnify your name because I know that as I release your word, every challenge will bow in the name of Jesus; darkness will bow and your glory shall be released in Jesus name.

Psa. 94:20-22 says, “Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.” Can God condone the throne of iniquity? No! How do you identify the throne of iniquity? Thrones of iniquity make unrighteous decrees. The throne of iniquity can only propagate iniquity, a throne of iniquity lowers the standard of the word of God, a throne of iniquity can only bring perversion and as many as get carried away and bow to that iniquity will cut off their heavens. This is because God hates iniquity. Iniquity is turning away from light. The Hebrew word for iniquity is ‘awvonn’ which means to turn away from light. It means to turn away from the revealed will of God. It means to turn away from the truth of the word of God.

PRAY: Heavenly father I worship you. In your mercy Oh Lord, overthrow every throne of iniquity working against your purpose in my life; I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen
