BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 6C) – HEALING OF EVIL FAMILY PATTERN

God has a wonderful inheritance for his children but his children have an evil inheritance, which they are still battling with. The move from evil inheritance to the wonderful inheritance is not a journey of one day; you have to pass through the wilderness, but what easy believism preachers are telling people today, is that once you say the sinner’s prayer, you are already in heaven regardless of how you live. Nothing can be farther from the truth. The fact that you matriculated into a university does not necessarily mean that you will graduate. It is not automatic. You need to go through the process; you have to pass through the system and be found worthy, in character and in learning.

Who were our ancestors? If you don’t have a thorough understanding of this, you will be celebrating what you should renounce. As long as you keep celebrating what God hates, you cannot be a friend of God. These things affect you whether you realize it or not; they are the things that will stop you from making it to the Promised Land. It was just one evil inheritance that stopped Moses from entering into the Promised Land and he was not even there when the curse was pronounced.

Our ancestors were involved in human sacrifices; they worshipped idols, river goddess, iron, tree, animals, and spirits of their ancestors. They committed murders, immorality, practiced slavery, occultism, necromancy, witchcraft and other evil acts that brought curses upon their lives. Note that a curse does not need to be said to one’s hearing for it to become active. Josh. 6:26, “And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.” That was the curse that was pronounced on anybody who would rebuild the gate of Jericho. Six hundred years after this curse was issued, it was still in force. 1 Kings. 16:34, “In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.” Look back, six hundred years into your lineage. What kind of ancestors do you have?

Pray –

• Lord, make it impossible for the prophecy that is meant for the wicked to be fulfilled in any area of my life in the mighty name of Jesus. The prophecy that is meant for the wicked shall never be fulfilled in the life of any member of my family. Thank you faithful God, I decree this and it is established in Jesus name.
• Father, grant that I will never have an evil appointment, make it impossible for me to have an appointment with evil. I will never have appointment with any evil programme, in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I ask that you send your ministering angels to go forth and deprogramme any evil programme that the enemy has set forth for my life or set upon the destiny of any member of my family. Thank you faithful God. I give you all the glory in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
