BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 7B) – HE IS RISEN

Matt. 28:1-7, “In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: and for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.” In verse 2 of this scripture, you will notice the earthquake dimension of the blood of Jesus.

The cross of Christ is the place where the greatest altar was raised. Every altar has the capacity to impact lives. The greatness of an altar is measured not in terms of size but in terms of its power or ability to impact lives. This altar that was raised about two thousand years ago is still transforming lives. The beauty of the Christian message is that we need not carry guns to convert people, the power of God is in the word – the good news of what Jesus did for us. We have a wonderful inheritance. That is why it is good news. We need to receive this good news and then go ahead to share it. That is what Jesus expects his disciples to do. He is risen so that we may arise. When he rose, we rose with him potentially. We have good news which no power can stop.

Matt. 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power (every power there can ever be) is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Meditate on this scripture. Comprehensive dominion belongs to Jesus Christ. There is nothing anybody can do about that. In heaven, he won the battle, on the cross, he won the battle, in the grave, he won the battle. He routed principalities and made a public show of them. We saw this in Col. 2:15, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” He was able to dismantle and destroy the greatest fear of man; what satan uses as his last card – the leviathan head of death.

PRAY:- Heavenly I worship you and thank you specially for the wonderful salvation package you gave to man. Jesus Son of the Most High God I celebrate your love for me which you demonstrated on the cross. I proclaim that through your death, burial and resurrection, I have dominion over sickness, disease, death and hell. Thank you so much Jesus. I declare I have a wonderful inheritance in You. I am blessed beyond curse. Amen.
