BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 8J) – HE WAS WOUNDED FOR ME

Isa. 61:3, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” Phil. 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”

JESUS, I thank you for going to the cross and taking all my sorrows, past, present and future and you nailed them to the cross. Therefore, I am free, I declare my freedom. I declare that through what you did at the cross of Calvary, I am free from sorrow. In place of sorrow, I have joy. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I have joy every day of my life. I celebrate the anointing of joy; I carry the anointing of joy, my life is joyful, my life is full of joy in the name of Jesus. Thank you faithful God.

Every programme of sorrow for my life; be deprogrammed forever in the name of Jesus.

He went to the cross to die so that we might live. I want you to take this literally. Jesus died prematurely, although it was in line with the purpose of God that he will die at the time that he did at the age of 33 years, so that he will satisfy me with long life. In exchange for his premature death, I am a recipient of the grace for long and fulfilled life.

  • PRAY:- Jesus, I thank you that you went to the cross to die for me prematurely at the age of 33. I thank you for dying for me. You came that I might have life and that I might have it more abundantly. I receive your abundant life. I declare that abundant life is my portion in this land of the living. I celebrate your abundant life. Thank you Jesus.
  • Declare and personalize Psalm 91 verse 16, “With long life, the Lord will satisfy me and shew me his salvation” in Jesus name.
  • He went to the cross; he was wounded so that I can be totally liberated from barrenness. Exo. 23:26. Barrenness is not just biological, but barrenness in all ramifications. If you are engaged in something and that thing is not bearing fruit, it is barren. If you are laboring with nothing to show for it, it is barrenness. If you are doing a business without overflow, it is barrenness. If you are engaged in something and borrowing money to do it, it is barrenness. Wherever there is youth unemployment, there is barrenness. If you are not enjoying a good relationship with your spouse, it is relational barrenness. It is not meant to be so. Jesus went to the cross to solve that problem and if you don’t press into it; if you don’t appropriate it, you will not enjoy the benefits.
