BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 10H) EMPOWERED TO BE FRUITFUL – NO MORE BARRENNESS

Romans 8:1-2, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Are you in Christ? No more condemnation. Are you walking after the flesh or after the spirit? This blessing of no condemnation is for those who do not walk after the flesh but after the spirit. Another dimension we see in verse two of this scripture is if you are in Christ and walking in the spirit, you shall be fruitful because the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus is the one that is operating it. Where this law is in operation, the law of sin and death ceases. It is the law of sin and death that produces barrenness and neutralizes efforts.

Gal. 6:8, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Fruitfulness is a sign of life. You cannot expect a dry tree to produce fruit. Apostle Paul wrote this scripture to believers and not to unbelievers.

For in that Galatian Church, there were two classes of people – those who were sowing to the flesh and those who were sowing to the spirit. That is exactly how it is in every Church. It is so easy to sow in the flesh. Remember that this message is all about comprehensive fruitfulness. Holiness is not loving God and doing whatever pleases you. Holiness is loving God and going out of your way to do what pleases him and that involves loving what God loves and hating what God hates. Make no mistake about it, it is the love of God that makes him to hate and punish sin.

The mercy side of God forgives sin but the truth side of God judges sin and that is why his Son had to go to the cross. Sin was judged on the cross so that it will no longer have dominion over you but if you decide to exercise your will to sin, you are sowing in the flesh. This should answer those who propagate the theology of once saved, saved forever. That theology is not of God. Paul wrote this scripture to the Galatian saints because in that Church, there were people who were already sowing in the flesh. The Bible is very clear; those who sow in the flesh shall reap corruption. It is very clear.

Remember that this is a law on its own. The law of sowing and reaping is a universal law. Whatever you sow is what you will reap. A lot of people no longer take responsibility for their actions anymore. That is why many Christians are so enemy-centric today. They attribute all their failure to the enemy.

PRAY:- Heavenly father I worship you. I thank you for the privilege of knowing you. I celebrate the finished work of your Son Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary. I confess that through His death, burial and resurrection all my sins are forgiven. Grant me the grace to always sow in the spirit so that I will reap everlasting life. I proclaim that the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made free from the law of sin and death. I have a wonderful inheritance. I am blessed beyond curse in Jesus’ Name. Amen
