BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 11B) – SEAL OF GOD

When the mind gets involved, sin can still be aborted at that point but it becomes more difficult. The best time to abort sin is at the conception stage; it is at this stage that the eyes, nose or ears get involved. Once the mind gets involved, all the plotting begins to take place and all the scheming starts. The will is the executor; the executive director, it is the command for ‘do’ as we have in computer programming. At that point, it is very difficult to abort sin just as it is difficult to abort pregnancy at the point of delivery.
Every sin passes through three stages;

  1. The conception stage.
  2. The incubation stage – at the stage, the sense organs pick the signal, the mind nurtures and blow it up and then transmit to the output just like the ‘do’ command in computer programming (FOTRAM).
  3. The delivery stage – You are so wired up that by the time the sin gets to the point where the will gets involved, it is as good as done. Iniquity goes before the sin is committed.
    Jesus said something profound. For those who think that the standard of the New Testament is lower than the Old Testament, this is not true, the standard of the New Testament is even higher than that of the Old Testament. For instance, in the Old Testament, it is when a person is caught in the act of adultery that he will be stoned but in the New Testament, if a man looks at a woman lustfully, he has already committed it. This is one of the reasons why you must dress properly especially to the house of God. There is dress code in heaven. There is an attire called the attire of the harlot. What business has a child of God with this?
    David’s decision almost cost him his throne. One little decision to turn away from light is all it takes. So, when the word of God says if you know that you are my child, depart from iniquity, you ought to run away from it, don’t fraternize with iniquity.
    Purpose of Seals
    The number one purpose of a seal is for ownership. The Bible says, “having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his”. After Jesus was baptized, God looked upon him and said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matt. 3:17. When the Lord looks upon you, may his face beam with smile, may he always endorse your actions in the name of Jesus.
    PRAY:- Father, I stretch my hands to you, I declare you as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus Christ, I believe in you, I believe you died for me and on the third day, God raised you from the dead. I yield my life to you and I enthrone you as Lord over my life. I declare that I belong to you forever. Please help me to live for you all the days of my life. Grant me the grace to depart from iniquity and never to condone anything that you hate. Help me to love what you love and to hate what you hate. Help me to be all that you want me to be. I depend on you Lord, Jesus, in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
