BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 13F) – A PECULIAR PEOPLE

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of excellence. It is in your interest to renounce any nonsense that the enemy brings your way. When you do, you will receive divine endorsement just like Joseph. When Joseph renounced nonsense, God promoted him. If the world throws any nonsense at you, it is your responsibility to say ‘No I am heavenly branded. God has put his brand on me, he owns me and someday, I will land in his home, my eternal dwelling place. I belong to him’. Don’t allow anyone to drag you to hell!

Today, if you put a signpost that reads ‘beware of dogs’ on your gate, you can be sure that there will be no trespass but if you put ‘beware of God’ there, don’t be surprised if people go there and openly desecrate it. Do you know that a royal priest is a person of integrity? A priest does not tell lies. A genuine king does not tell lies either.

As a peculiar people, we are more valuable to God than angels. The Bible says that we will even judge angels in 1 Cor. 6:3, “Know ye not that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to life.” 2 Cor. 5:5 says that God has given us his Holy Spirit as a guarantee of what he has prepared for us; he has put his Holy Spirit in our heart as a guarantee of the first instalment of what he has prepared for us. You may love your children very much and have so many beautiful plans for them but in their choices, they may decide to short-circuit your plans concerning them. God is the omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient One; the inexhaustible source of every good thing, the One that spoke the world into existence, the One that loves you so much that he sent his Son so that you can acquire a divinely ordained seal of ownership. He is the One who has prepared a place for us so that we can rendezvous with him in glory for the rest of our lives; the One who has ordained for us a wonderful inheritance.

Angels marvel at God’s extra ordinary benevolence shown to man. 1 Pet. 1:12, (KJV) “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost send down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.” God has given us so much that even angels desire the same. Pray –

• I am a peculiar person; I am blessed beyond any curse. I have a wonderful inheritance in Jesus name.
• Father, help me never to compromise the standards of your word for anything, help me never to degrade or belittle what you have done for me in the name of Jesus. Thank you blessed Lord. Amen.
