Poverty is an aggressive sickness, if you don’t kill it, it will spread. One of the things you should not hand down to your next generation is poverty. We need to know how to get God into partnership in the management of our resources. When you are not paying tithe, you are only inviting trouble for yourself; you are only making things unnecessarily tight for yourself because there are certain things you can never fight; there are some battles you need not fight. You are not the one to rebuke the devourer; it is God who rebukes the devourer. It is wisdom to partner with God. If you make God a shareholder in your business, it means you are wise. Just hold him to his word and he will prove himself faithful. There is a limit to the extent you can prosper the kingdom way except by entering into a covenant relationship with God. God’s covenant way to prosperity is according to his word in Mal. 3:10-11, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.”
- Be kingdom minded. Don’t just be thinking of what God can do for you, what are you doing in God’s kingdom? Make yourself relevant in the scheme of things. The best partnership you can ever have is divine partnership, partner with God. The best connection you can ever have is divine connection; there is no superior connection. When you partner with God, the resources of heaven will be at your disposal. You can download! Before any need arises, God already knows. Until your life becomes a seed, it will never be a harvest. That is why you should be kingdom relevant. David said, “I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the Lord” Psa. 122:1. Are you glad whenever there is need to lend a helping hand? You cannot be lifting the banner of the Lord and be down.
PRAY:- Eternal Most Holy God I worship and adore You. I thank You for the generous provisions You have made in Your word for my comprehensive well-being. Grant me the grace to always be kingdom minded and at the blessing side of windows of heaven. I trust You to rebuke the devourer for my sake in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
