BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 24E) – THE HAND OF GOD

The hand of God is for signs and wonders. Signs and wonders should follow those who are connected to God. Jesus, in Mark 16:17, said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils …” The first sign that should follow every child of God is the ability to cast out devils because it is a very serious kingdom input which can only be accomplished through the finger of God. The first sign that should follow believers is not speaking in tongues but casting out of devils. I believe that it is because of lack of this understanding that there is so much emphasis on speaking in tongues today and so little casting out of devils. This should not be so. In fact, many people today do not believe that you should still be casting out devils. Without fire, however, you cannot cast out any demon. The fire of God is not your fire but the fire of his presence. It is that fire of his presence that gets the job done. The fire of God’s presence will make you a transformer and not a conformer. With the fire of his presence burning inside of you, you can no longer be comfortable with Church as usual. The fire of his presence will produce miracles in your life and you will no longer be a miracle seeker but a miracle producer, a miracle worker. The Acts of the Apostles was written because the Apostles acted. It was actually the acts of the Holy Spirit because it was the Holy Spirit that empowered them in Acts 2 and after that they were transformed; ordinary people became extra ordinary. Be led by the Holy Spirit otherwise other things will lead you and that thing is capable of leading you into depression. Depression is a major issue currently ravaging the world today. Depression is empowered by the spirits of the valley. A child of God on the other hand should be empowered supernaturally by the spirit of God which is the Holy Spirit. It is the spirit that leads you that will lead you home. The spirit that leads you either leads you up or leads you down and any spirit that leads you down is definitely a wrong spirit. The mistake the world makes is that they think that depression can be cured by drugs; some even think that it can be cured through dangerous substances. These spirits of the valley not only steal and kill but they also have the capacity to destroy. They keep telling their victim all manner of lies; that there is no hope (depression is a state of believing in hopelessness) and so the person begins to hear the voice of manipulation. Over time, the spirits will start suggesting suicide. Acts 7:21, “And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord”. It was the hand of the Lord with the Apostles that produced fruitfulness in their ministry. Within a couple of years, they were able to turn the world upside down because the hand of God was with them. Pray –

• Heavenly Father, let your hand be with me all the days of my life in the name of Jesus. Lord, may your hand be with me to produce signs and wonders in my life; make me for signs and for wonders. Help me O God to be transformed and to be a transformer. Henceforth, wherever I go, let signs and wonders follow me in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, magnify your name in my life and work out your plans for me. Show me your mercy and your love and your kindness and your faithfulness.
• Empower me by your awesome power, let the power of your outstretched hand be visible in my life in the name of Jesus. Thank you faithful God, in Jesus name. Amen.
