Acts 13:11, “And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.” This is the story of Elymas the sorcerer. It is time for sorcerers to be taught some lessons. The world is upside down because the Church has failed to act. I heard about the story of an Anglican reverend who had an encounter with a witch doctor who threatened him. Not long after, the reverend went blind. I also heard the story of a young man who was full of Pentecostal zeal but without knowledge and fire. He challenged a witch doctor after which he became paralyzed from his abdomen down to his legs. After a while, he eventually died. If you are a child of God, for goodness sake, be a true child of God. Ministry is warfare. Spiritual warfare is not fought with rubber bullets. You should be the one who should stand before a witch doctor and say ‘if I be a man of God, let fire fall’. That was exactly what the apostles did. There is something called power encounter in spiritual warfare. Many years ago, I was ministering Holy Ghost baptism when a man walked in; I knew immediately that the man was not an ordinary man. When I wanted to pray for him, I was led to lay hands and immediately he was lifted and fell face down (which is typical of occultists). Some years after this when we went to the man’s house to destroy his occult materials, he confessed that he accumulated those materials over a period of fifty years. We burnt the materials and he told us that that was the first night he slept very well in many years. I later ran into this man somewhere and he confessed to me that one of the times he came for service at the Church, he was busy testing the power of all the Pastors in service and he rated each and every one of them according to the level of the spiritual power they possess. Church is not an ordinary place, there you can find snakes and scorpions and that is why you need the fire of the Holy Ghost. God is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29). The Church needs to start raising up fire brand Christians and not dancers or compromisers. Pray –
- Father, I stretch my hand to you, in the mighty name of Jesus, every strange fire that has entered my life and stolen my money, joy, business and turned things around for evil in my life, Father, let that strange fire be put off by the power of the Almighty. Let the fire of your presence put off every strange fire kindled against my finances, against my business, against my destiny in the name of Jesus.
- Let the fire of your presence rest upon me and transform and destroy every evil seal of limitation placed upon my life, upon my finances, placed upon my business in the name of Jesus.
- From this moment, I proclaim supernatural abundance, I proclaim that I am blessed beyond curse, my business is blessed beyond curse, I have a wonderful inheritance in Jesus name I decree. Amen.
