2019 OPERATION 18-18 (DAY 16) – COVENANT OF DIVINE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION II

If you want to be ten times better this year, purpose in your heart not to be defiled; reject the ‘king’s portion’. That was the secret of Daniel. If you have found God and you are still seeking for something else, then check the god you found, he must be an idol. We need the Joshua company who will go to the field and contend with the ‘Amalekites’ while ‘Moses’ will be on top of the mountain connecting with God. It took the cooperation of at least four people for God to be declared as Jehovah Nissi – Moses on top of the mountain, Aaron and Hur by his side while Joshua and his team were in the battle field. Whenever the hand of Moses became weak, the battle tide turns. The enthronement of God as Jehovah Nissi, God our banner Exo 17:8-16 . As we keep flying the banner in holiness, in righteousness and in wisdom, the anointing for comprehensive dominion will flow from the mountain to the field and there will be sweatless victories. That is why I don’t believe that pastors should abandon their call to pursue other calls. We need teaching priests; the greatest need of leadership is direction and that is why the devil is bringing in a lot of distraction. It is left for you to say No! You must learn to say ‘No’ to certain things in order to quality for better things.

The world is in dire need of leadership and looking up to the Church but the Church has compromised, the world is now in the Church. The Bible made a categorical statement in Jer. 27:18, “But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem go not to Babylon.” The greatest need of the Church is not a bigger cathedral; the greatest need of the Church is ‘man’, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me and the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none” Eze. 22:30. The direction the Church goes is the direction the country will go. If you show me the Church I will show you the country. If you chase gold, you will miss God, if you chase God, you will have gold like dust. A lot of people have chased gold into the grave and gone to hell; that is the greatest definition of failure. You will not fail in the name of Jesus. You will succeed to succeed; you will not succeed to fail in Jesus name. We have a God that can protect, preserve and provide for us, let’s not give him a second place in our heart this year, let’s learn to place him first.

The high praise of God “will be a twoedged sword in your hand to execute vengeance … praise ye the Lord”. There is honour that is meant for saints, may you enjoy that honour this year, none of them will elude you. It is going to be double honour; double ten times honour. This year, you must ensure that you don’t remove your eyes from these scriptures – Dan. 1:8 and Dan. 1:20. The Church should be ten times better. Break away from Babylon and enter the purpose of God and fulfil it and you will see the world around you bow. Defilement fights; it is your responsibility to make sure that it does not have the upper hand in your life this year in words, in your thought life, in the garden of the heart, in your interactions, in the work of your hands. Run away from spiritual filth; it comes first and foremost like dust. What constitutes spiritual dust is lust. Once you compromise the word of God, you can no longer get the world. If you become one with the world, you will lose the glory and where do you contact the glory? By dwelling in the secret place of the most high.

PRAY –

• Lord, please have mercy on me and help me. Show me the areas of my life where I need to make amends, show me the things that I need to drop so that I can enter the fullness of what you have for me and may I not miss it again in Jesus name.
• Help me, Lord, to walk with you according to your terms and not according to my own terms. Grant me the grace never to impose my will on your will, this year, Lord, make me a true worshiper in Jesus name. AMEN!
