WALKING IN THE ANOINTING FOR BETTER THINGS 1C

The expectation of the soon coming king has a sanctifying and a healing effect. That is why we need to constantly put on the helmet of salvation which protects us from being worldly minded and from being earthbound. It protects you from having a wrong mindset. The toughest battle is fought in the realm of the mind. Things are not going to get better in the world that is why it is folly to be earthbound. Everything in the world will sink. As a student of prophecy, I can tell authoritatively that we are no longer in the Old Testament, we are also not in the Acts of the Apostles. Prophecy has progressed. There are seven dispensations and we are in the sixth. Between the sixth and the seventh is the rapture of the saints. It is the rapture that would herald the last dispensation of the kingdom which is the seventh.

Pray –

  • Lord, make it impossible for me to miss the rapture of your true Church in the name of Jesus. Make it impossible for me to miss the rapture of your saints. Help me to be rapture ready, make me rapturable at all times. Thank you Lord. Deliver me from being earthbound. Deliver me from being worldly minded.
  • I soak my mind in the blood of Jesus. Lord I declare that I have an inheritance in you. I am blessed beyond curse in Jesus name.

Vital keys for walking in the anointing for better things

  1. The Key of David. Rev. 3:7, “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth”.  There are two vital things that anyone who wants to have the key of David must possess.

    a. The first requirement for the key of David is holiness, no short cut. If you want things to get better in your life more than they have ever been, there is no short cut to holiness. It is just not possible for you to be wallowing in sin and be expecting a holy God to bless you. Christianity makes sense only within the context of the worship of a holy God. God is holy. Holiness is not just loving God and doing your own thing. There are dimensions of holiness that you must take note of. Holiness is:

    i. Loving God and going out of your way to do his will. Once you mention doing the will of God, a word that will naturally crop up is obedience; complete obedience. A lot of people are walking in partial obedience. You must be complete in obedience in order to be at the centre of God’s will. It does not come easy.
ii. The holiness that we are referring to involves loving what God loves and hating what God hates. This is where a lot of people miss it. If you endorse what God hates, you are no longer holy; your definition of holiness is skewed. You need to hate what God hates and love what He loves.
