The word of God is real and deep. Those who scratch it on the surface will think that is all there is to it, but those who know their God will get deeper. They will press on to deeper things that are reserved for those who do not stop at the gate. Those who stop at the gate will not know the experience at the court. Those who stop at the court will not experience the blessings of the Holy place. Those who stop at the Holy Place will not know the experience of the glory because the glory can only be found in the holiest place, the holy of holies. These are the different levels that many people operate. Are you a child of God? If yes, then where are you? I pray that your desire will be to press on, to walk closely with him in Jesus name.
In my walk with God I have discovered that God does not throw things at people. The Bible is a book of decisions. It is in the wisdom of God to do exactly that. The easiest way to spoil the object of your love is to throw things at him or her. True love means that you have to chastise at times according to the word of God in Heb. 12:6. “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scorgeth every son whom he receiveth.” In the world however, the reverse is the case, whom the father loves, he pampers. If you are in the habit of pampering your children, you must repent. True love ‘makes’. “Let us make man in our image, after our own likeness” Gen 1:26A. That is the true meaning of love. True love ennobles. True love uplifts. True love corrects, chastises, rebukes and exhorts. True love does not spare the rod because true love is built on truth. At times I wonder – can the world really know love? Can anyone who is not controlled by the spirit of truth know true love? That is why when an unbeliever approaches a Christian Sister for marriage, the Sister does not need to pray, the answer should be an emphatic NO! Anything that is not rooted on truth has no future; it is only built on quicksand. One of the greatest keys today in the whole world is wisdom. 1 John 2:27, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” Wisdom gives you stability. There are two dimensions of the anointing. Remember that this is our year of twenty times better for those who want to settle at that, some will press to one thousand times better, others for ten thousand but I would rather go for twenty thousand times better.
One of the greatest revelations I got is that the Lord led me to calculate the power of God and what I discovered baffled me. The power of God is – infinity raised to power infinity over zero. That is the power of God. And I asked, why so much power is concentrated in him? He asked me how many people we have on planet earth. Seven billion I retorted. He said “if seven billion come at the same time to ask for anything, each and every one of them will walk away with it and my power will not diminish”. Whatever they take will replace itself. The power of God is self-generating, self-sustaining and self-perpetuating. As I was meditating on this the Lord dropped another thing in my heart, He said it is not only His power that the model represents. That model represents anything at all that He can give. In other words, anything at all that God can give, He has it in supernatural abundance.
Many times people cheat themselves by asking for toys whenever they have the opportunity to make a request. You can know their size by their prayer point. Don’t cheat yourself this year. There is an anointing that can change your life and it remains changed forever. God can so work it out for you that you also begin to operate in that level of superlative measure. The anointing abides.
