Every true leader in the Church should be a healing agent in this sick world. We are not called to make billionaires out of people. No! We are called to make disciples out of you – disciplined followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is what the Church ought to be doing. Today you have beautiful cathedrals that will still be in full session if the rapture takes place on a Sunday. They will come to realize that the rapture had taken place only after the service! It is unfortunate. Jesus told me specifically in an encounter I had sometime ago that many of his children are going to be stranded in a dusty land; they will be too busy chasing money, seeking political offices, pursuing other things, building mansions and suddenly, the rapture will take place.
The rapture is going to be a spiritual exercise, it is only those who are tuned to the frequency of the Holy Ghost that will hear the sound of the trumpet. When I gave my life to Christ in the early seventies, the message was very clear, it was a message that prepared us for heaven. Somewhere along the line, however, the message changed and instead began to prepare us for this earth. This is a serious error. A lot of Pastors are now dropping their call to pursue political offices, to serve in the government of an antichrist!
Where will you spend eternity? Jesus is coming soon! When was the last time you heard this type of message? If you truly believe that Jesus Christ is coming very soon, what should be your priority?
PRAYER
- Jesus, you have gone to prepare a place for me, please prepare me for that place so that where you are there I will be also. (Pray for yourself and your loved ones. God is not only interested in saving you; he is interested in saving all your loved ones).
- Lord, I stretch my hands to you. Please help me. Do not allow me to be on the wrong side of prophecy. Make it impossible for me O God to miss the sound of the trumpet. Make it impossible for any member of my family to miss the sound of the trumpet. Make it impossible for any member of Holy Ghost fellowship International to miss the sound of the trumpet. Make it impossible O God for those who are connected to this fellowship to miss the sound of the trumpet.
- Lord, I pray for every leader that is in error one way or the other, anyone that has left the message of the kingdom, the message of making disciples, message of preparing people for your kingdom, Lord have mercy. In any way that we have ever let you down, we are sorry. In your mercy, please overlook our short comings. We return.
- Jesus, I rededicate my life to you, you are the alpha and the omega of my life. I confess with my mouth what I believe in my heart that you died for my sins and on the third day you rose from the dead and that you are now at the right hand side of the Father and that you are coming to take me home. Please help me to live ready. Help me never to miss you. Help me to be right at the centre of your will for my life.
- Make it impossible for me to derail. Make it impossible for me to miss the rapture. Deliver me from every appearance of evil. Help me to love you, help me to love what you love. Help me to hate what you hate. Help me not to be engrossed in chasing shadows. Deliver me from friendship with the world which is enmity with God. Deliver me in the name of Jesus.
- Help me to be heavenly minded, grant me the grace to be heavenly minded in the name of Jesus. Make heaven more real to me than any earthly thing can ever be in the name of Jesus. Amen.
