2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 1I – (I WILL LIFT UP MY EYES)

How do you lift up your eyes?

6. Follow a good mentor.
Phil. 4:9, “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” There are two paths to wisdom; mentorship and mistake. Mentorship is the surest safest path to wisdom. What it took me fifty years to learn I can pass it on in less than thirty minutes; God has enabled me to do so to some people with fantastic results. Don’t ever follow a leader who does not know the way. Don’t follow anyone who cannot lift you. You may not really like your mentor because truth is hard to take. If you cannot obey the simple instruction of a mentor, how then can you obey God’s instructions? Your mentor is a trusted coach. The greatest mentor is the One that will take you to heaven. Mentorship includes rebuke. Don’t allow anyone who cannot correct you to be your Pastor. If you miss it, your coach should be able to correct you. Those who reject mentorship inevitably welcome mistake. Some mistakes cannot be corrected in a lifetime.

Pray –

7. One day at a time.
1 Thes. 5:15-24, “See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesying. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”

Make your prayer list every day in this fasting and praying programme, from time to time visit them and put these keys to use and you will discover that heaven has begun with you.

Your prayers will not miss their mark in the name of Jesus. Your fasting shall not be in vain. There shall be tangible benefits. Before the New Year, many people would have been mightily blessed in the name of Jesus. Nobody who connects either directly or ‘virtually’ will miss it in the mighty name of Jesus. The blessings of God make rich and do not add any sorrow. We shall enjoy the blessings of acceptable fast and the Lord who crowns the year with his goodness will visit each and every one of us in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
