An Assignment
- Make a list of the things you do not want to see again in your life. Do not tolerate anything that is not God’s purpose for your life, do not rationalize it. Do not say it is above you. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you need to make amends. In your present situation, if things are not working, trust God for a better tomorrow. Jesus has given you power to overcome. Satan can never have dominion over you. Every work of the enemy operating in any area of your life. Command every work of the devil operating in your life to dissolve and disappear in the mighty name of Jesus. Let every evil altar that has ever fought against the purpose of God in your life be utterly destroyed. Let anything causing pain in your life be reduced to nothing in the name of Jesus.
What should be our response to what Jesus has done?
- Receive him, surrender to his Lordship in every area of your life.
Surrender completely. There are immeasurable blessings associated with a surrendered life. God will be your rewarder, he will be your source, and he will take over your life. No one can be led by the Holy Spirit who has not fully surrendered. He guides the sheep. Jesus is our shepherd, he is the shepherd of the sheep. He said in John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”. - Enthrone him, let him be the Lord.
Stop running your self-government. Throw away your government, let Jesus have his way. - Fall in love with Jesus. John 14:23.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him”. What a wonderful blessing. You will become a God man. Celebrate Jesus. All the days of your life I encourage you to serve him and your life will be better for it. According to 1 Cor 2:9; “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”.
PRAY
Heavenly Father help me to fall in love with you. Empower me to accomplish all you want me to accomplish. Grant me the grace to become all you want me to be. In Jesus name, Amen!
