2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 13D (THE REVELATIONS OF CHRIST IV)

27.      He is our Rock.
Psa. 89:26, “He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.”  Until Jesus becomes the rock of your salvation, you will be doubtful, an “unbelieving believer”. The devil will come and whisper into your ears, ‘are you sure that you are saved?” I remember a particular man who answered the altar call for salvation more than one hundred times. I led him to Christ but that was not enough. I took him to our local Church and anytime there was an altar call, this brother will always come out to give his life to Christ again. One day, I called him aside and asked him why he was always answering altar calls, whether it meant he was not saved. He explained to me and then I understood him. He was struggling with a particular sinful habit and whenever he fell into that sin, he felt so dejected and felt he had lost his salvation. We had to counsel him on how to deal with the sinful habit. Salvation is by grace and he had to receive it by faith. Believe this and enthrone Jesus as the rock of your salvation. Jesus is the foundation, you build your salvation on Jesus Christ the solid rock so that you will not be shaken. As you continue to strengthen yourself through study of his word, your faith in Christ will be consolidated. Sanctification is a process – like a baby you start growing and then mature. Today, to the glory of God, that brother is a Pastor. That is what God can do if you allow him. Jesus Christ is the rock of our salvation. Psa. 95:1, “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” One of the ways to consolidate our belief in Christ is to worship the rock of our salvation. He is the substance and essence of our lives. So whenever the enemy comes to suggest things to you, hold onto the rock of your salvation.
