3. It is the spirit that opposes the will of God for your life. God has an original blueprint for your life but the spirit of Herod will say “no, it cannot happen”. If the call of God is upon your life, you must be very careful otherwise the devil may present to you a counterfeit. Whenever you are presented with an alternative to the purpose of God for your life, may God grant you the grace to say “no! I am not interested”, in the name of Jesus. There is no better alternative to the blueprint of God for your destiny. True success is not in achievements. True success is not in activities. True success is not in accumulation. True success is keeping timely appointments with God’s schedules for your life. If God wants you to be somewhere today and you are there, you are successful. You have kept the appointment. This understanding should make you stop trying to be like another Joe. Satan’s alternative can never be good. Don’t ever forget this. Whenever you are called to come and become what God has not made you, please, RUN!
Pray –
- I raise the blood of Jesus against any power opposing the will of God for my destiny. I raise the blood of Jesus against satan’s alternative. I overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony in Jesus name.
4. The spirit of Herod is the spirit that fights the Church. It is the spirit that goes against the Church to kill it.
Pray –
- I raise the blood of Jesus against the spirit that fights against the Church of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I overcome that spirit by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I bind that spirit and cast it into the abyss. I terminate its operation in Jesus name.
5. The spirit of Herod does not only hate the Church, it celebrates the killing of God’s servants.
Pray –
- I raise the blood of Jesus against the spirit of wickedness against children of God all over the world. I overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. In the name of Jesus, I bind you and cast you into abyss. I terminate your operation. Thus far you come, you go no further in Jesus name.
6. It is the spirit of worldly glory, known as glamour. It is a glamorous spirit. When the children of God who are not well grounded see that glamour, they sometimes get carried away. So, it is satanic evangelism. If you are not well grounded in the Lord, you may get carried away by some idolatrous festivals. It is also the spirit of seduction. There are so many spirits out there that want to seduce you out of the purpose of God for your destiny. Seduction goes before deception, deception goes before destruction. The sequence is – seduction, delusion, deception, distraction and then destruction! pray for your children on daily basis against the spirit of deception.
Pray –
- I raise the blood of Jesus against the spirit of worldly glamour, I command your total overthrow and complete annihilation in the name of Jesus. I bind you and terminate your operation. You will not operate in any area of my life. You will not operate in the life of any member of my family in the name of Jesus. Amen.
