Characteristics of the Spirit of Herod II
4. The spirit of Herod is the spirit of untimely death; it is the spirit of infant slaughter.
It also happened when Moses was born; Pharaoh’s magicians saw the star of Moses and Pharaoh gave order for all male children be slaughtered. Moses was thrown into the river where God preserved him and took him into Pharaoh’s palace. Moses fulfilled his ministry. Nobody can stop your star from shinning. Pharaoh or no Pharaoh, Moses must manifest. Herod or no Herod, Jesus must be magnified. The word of God must grow.
5. The spirit of Herod is the spirit of weeping and mourning. Vs 18 (Acts 12).
This is the usual thing that happens when the wicked are in authority. The Bible says when the wicked are in power, the people mourn. When the righteous are in power, the people rejoice. Isa. 35:10 says, “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Pray –
- I raise the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth against you spirit of untimely death. I overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I deprogramme every programme of untimely death in the mighty name of Jesus.
- With long life, the Lord will satisfy me; it is written with long life, the Lord will satisfy me. I will fulfil my days here on earth. I will not die but live. The programme of God shall be established in my life in the name of Jesus.
- Every agreement with death is hereby cancelled in the name of Jesus. Every covenant with death is broken in the name of Jesus. I shall have long fulfilled prosperous life, comprehensively successful life. I shall be abundantly fruitful in the name of Jesus. The purpose of God for my destiny shall be fulfilled. With long life the Lord will satisfy me in the name of Jesus.
- The Lord shall bless me and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
- Every Easter programme of hell concerning my life is hereby cancelled, deprogrammed and of no effect whatsoever in the name of Jesus. Herod must die and the word of God must grow in the name of Jesus. The glory of God shall be revealed in Jesus mighty name I pray.
- I shall obtain everlasting joy; joy as I go out and as I come in. I will celebrate the goodness of the Lord in this land of the living in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
