2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 28E (FIRE ON THE ALTAR)

The Nature of God’s Fire

b. Lev. 10:1-2, “And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.” Here, we can identify another type of fire – strange fire. Any fire that is not from the throne of God, any fire that does not proceed from the Holy Ghost is a strange fire. The glory fire of God is a judgment fire. There are a lot of things you need to judge as a Christian, though you may be labelled judgmental by fellow Christians who take scriptures out of context. The sin you fail to judge will eventually contaminate and consume you. A Pastor who really loves you is the one that rebukes or corrects you when he notices that you are about to miss it. When he notices how exposed you are in the face of an attack, do you expect him to applaud you? The pure fire of the presence of God is very rare in the world today, wherever you find it, treasure it. The pure fire of the presence of God judges unrighteousness. It rebukes and hates evil. It hates what God hates and loves what God loves. The glory fire accentuates everything. You don’t double speak because the fire is in your bones. There is evil all over the world today because the Church has failed to judge what it needs to judge while some pastors are now becoming “politicians”. This is multiple level demotion. You cannot carry fire and be looking for lower things. Every lower thing you carry will make you sink according to the law of gravity. Fire will keep you above only. You cannot carry pure fire and be negotiating with those who are tied to dethroned forces. Remember that it is not the fire of your presence but the fire of God’s presence! In Acts 5:1-6, Apostle Peter was so furious with the deeds of Ananias and Sapphira, he literarily judged their deception because they wanted to kindle a strange fire in the Church. Thereafter, the Church grew, increased, multiplied and had dominion.
