The Nature of God’s Fire
g. The fire of God is a consuming fire. Heb. 12:29, “For our God is a consuming fire.” Oba. 17-18, “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them, and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau, for the LORD hath spoken it.” Everything the enemy throws at your path will become stubble and the fire of the presence of God will consume it. When people castigate you, it will become manure that will fertilize your growth to higher levels. For anyone that is connected to God, things get better; they don’t get worse. It is from glory to glory. The bible says the path of the righteous shines like a shining light that shines from brightness to brightness unto a perfect noon day (Prov 4:18).
Pray –
- Lord, envelop me with your glory fire. Let the consuming fire of your presence consume every sickness and disease in my body. Let it consume every fetter, let it consume everything that the enemy has brought upon my path in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- Lord, I ask you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to release your glory fire in every area of my life. Thank you blessed Lord, in Jesus name.
Rev. 8:2-5, “And I saw the seven angels which stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thundering, and lightnings, and an earthquake.”
Pray –
- Father, let the fire of the Holy Ghost altar generate thundering, lightnings, earthquake and utterly dismantle and destroy every contrary altar raised against me. Let it judge anything that opposes the will and purpose of God in my destiny. Thank you Lord because I know that you are able to do exceeding abundantly above my prayer requests. Let the fire of the golden altar to which this ministry is connected to respond. Lord, let the answers come by fire. Lord, envelop me with the fire of your presence. Grant that the fire on my family altar will never go down in the name of Jesus. I ask that you increase the fire of your presence in my life. Magnify my influence. Let the fullness of the blessings of your presence be manifest in every facet of my life. Let your glory be revealed in me and through me in the mighty name of Jesus.
