PRAYER
- Lord, is there any way that I have become an enemy of myself without knowing it, please help me. Show me the areas of my life where I am missing it and where I need to make amends in the name of Jesus.
- Do not allow me, O God, to score goal against myself; I should score goals against the enemy and not against my team. Please help me never to score goals against my team in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Help me to be an instrument of honour in your hand. Grace to align with your will and with the will of the Holy Spirit in line with your word – the revealed will of God, grant unto me in the name of Jesus.
- Help me never to misfire. Lord, help me. Cancel every goal that I have ever scored against myself and against my team in the name of Jesus. In any way, Lord, that I am the issue in my life, I ask you to mercifully deliver me and help me and grant me grace never again to work against your purpose for my life in the name of Jesus. Help me O God, in Jesus name.
There are so many dimensions of blockades; there are personal blockades where a lot of people block themselves by scoring an own goal. These can manifest in very subtle ways such as failing to fulfil a vow, telling lies, breaking agreements (covenants), aligning with the ungodly, judging unrighteously and so on. This blockade is self acting. Until you start studying the Bible from the technicalities, you might take it as a story book. How can a person who scores own goal ever win a match? When it comes to dealing with blockades, the first place to start is within. Ask yourself, is there any way that I am blocking myself? Is there any way I have become a blockade to my access? Remember that your greatest asset is your access; until you enter, you cannot possess. Moses stopped himself from entering the Promised Land through anger – a foolish habit because the Bible says, “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools” Eccl. 7:9.
