As a believer, you must be careful of wrong association and wrong alignment. A lot of believers celebrate what God hates, this baffles me. Tell me your alignment and I will tell you who you are. Part of our responsibility as believers is, loving what God loves and hating what he hates according to Psalm 139:21-22. You cannot love God and be comfortable in the congregation of the ungodly; aligning with what God hates. It matters to whom you yield your will, be very careful. This is one of the ways by which people block their own blessings. God is interested in your alignments and that is why he said, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away” Psa. 1:1-4. If you align with the ungodly, you will become ungodly.
Beware of unrighteous judgment. This is one of the things that lead people to wrong alignments. Unrighteous judgment attracts curses. When people don’t understand the nature of evil, they tend to rationalize it.
Pray –
- Lord, please help me to love what you love and to hate what you hate. Help me never to rationalize what you call abominable. Help me never to celebrate what you call abominable. Grant me the grace to always align with you and to stand where you stand and to stand on what is right all the days of my life. Thank you blessed Lord, I worship and adore you. I bless and magnify your name.
- In any way that I have ever aligned with what is not right, today, I repent and ask you O God to help me never to repeat this mistake.
- Lord, let there be full and total restoration of all the blessings that were blocked as a result of any misalignment in the name of Jesus. Help me to flee from every appearance of evil and to love you above any other thing in my heart. Help me to love what you love and to hate what you hate.
- You are a holy God, please make me holy in Jesus name.
