Rom. 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Read Gal. 5:18, John 1:12, Rev. 21:7). The Holy Spirit will never lead you to do the wrong thing. He will lead you to do only those things that are pleasing to our heavenly Father. Ultimately, everyone will end up in the home of their father. Who is your father? The spirit that leads you will lead you to the home of your owner. We, therefore, need to be very careful of the spirits we surrender to.
Holy Ghost Fellowship is not another Church or another denomination. It is a lifestyle of partnership with the Holy Spirit. Submit to the Holy Spirit. Surrender every aspect of your life to him – your body, soul, spirit. Let the Holy Spirit fill you and possess you. Is there any aspect of your life that is not properly surrendered to the Holy Spirit? Whose seal are you still carrying? When the chips are down, will you say NO? When every other person is doing it, will you say NO?
PRAY
- Celebrate Jesus. Celebrate the victory of the cross. Celebrate His death, burial and resurrection that positioned us for the victory and for all the blessings of the grace of the cross, the blessings that flow from His throne of grace. Give him praise.
- The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth and of grace. Worship God. Appreciate him and ask him to help you never to allow anything that is capable of overwhelming you to happen but that the Holy Spirit shield you from every machination of the kingdom of darkness and grant you grace to live above sin all the days of your life.
- Ask for grace to live above sickness, disease and death, satan and all his works. Grace to live above self, the law, poverty, scarcity and lack.
