DIFFERENT CONDITIONS OF THE HEART
5. A twisted heart.
It is a crooked heart. Psa. 58:1-5 (TLB), Justice? You high and mighty politicians don’t even know the meaning of the word! Fairness? Which of you has any left? Not one! All your dealings are crooked: you give “justice” in exchange for bribes. These men are born sinners, lying from their earliest words! They are poisonous as deadly snakes, cobras that close their ears to the most expert of charmers.” When you say something, usually, they hear something else because of the iniquity in their heart that twists what people say. Whatever is serpentine is bad. Some call it diplomacy. Psa. 56:5, “They are always twisting what I say. All their thoughts are how to harm me.” (TLB). A twisted heart is one which harbours the snake in the garden of the heart. Such a heart is capably of any crime. It is very dangerous to cohabit with such a heart.
Pray –
- Come against anything that perverts in the heart of members of the fellowship. Forbid the operation of any snake in the garden of the heart in this programme.
- We forbid the operation of any snake in the garden of the heart in the name of Jesus Christ. Remove any heart that is twisted. Lord, we ask for a heart surgery. We ask for a heart replacement. Grant that everyone will receive your word with a perfect heart throughout this programme. No word shall be perverted in the name of Jesus.
Zech. 3:9 (TLB) “He will be the Foundation Stone of the Temple that Joshua is standing beside, and I will engrave this inscription on it seven times: I will remove the sins of this land in a single day.”
- Lord, please remove every sin in line with your word in Zech. 3:9. Remove every sin; wipe away every transgression because of the precious blood of your dear Son Jesus Christ. O God, wash us and make us holy, grant each and every one of us a brand new heart in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you blessed Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen.
