If you miss it at the foundation level, you have missed everything. Many people are already deceived chasing flatteries. What you pursue is what you value. What you chase will always be ahead of you. If you do not understand the law of priority, you will always put the cart before the horse. The bible says in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Pray –
- Lord, I don’t want to embark on a journey that leads to nowhere. You have come to show us the way, you are the way. Make it impossible for me to derail and be deceived. May I never be corrupted by flatteries.
- Grant me the grace to walk hand in hand with you every moment, every second, every minute, every hour, every day, every week, every month, every year, all the days of my life. Where you are, that is where I want to be. You have gone to prepare a place for me, please prepare me for that place.
- Grant that I will not miss my heavenly mansion. Thank you most holy God. I depend on you to finish well and to finish strong in you. Grant that my last day on earth will be my best day in Christ in the name of Jesus Christ.
- It is only through you that I can do valiantly, so guide me through the skillfulness of your hand till I become all you want me to be, accomplish all you want me to accomplish, and leave nothing undone that I should do.
- Deliver me from flatteries out there. Deliver me from idolatry. I am prepared to throw away all idols and to seek you, the only true God. Reveal yourself more and more to me. Manifest your almightiness in every facet of my life and draw me into a closer relationship with you.
- Let the resources of heaven be released to me and let your name be magnified. Help me, let my life testify your glory, goodness and faithfulness. Thank you most holy God. May I never miss your mark in holiness, righteousness and wisdom.
- Through you I shall do valiantly in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
