PRAYER FOR THE JOURNEY AHEAD 2F – (WHO SHALL ASCEND?)

who shall ascend

Take note of the following:

C. Fight defilement with aggression this year CONT’D.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of sanctification, may we never forget that. Sanctification is to be set apart for God’s use. I am a student of progressive sanctification. The Lord will bless you as you press on. Heaven will surprise you. Heaven will release grace. Heaven will release the resources to back you up to succeed. This year, you shall not have wasted efforts. Heaven will back your efforts to excel. Heaven will multiply grace for you to be who God wants you to be. Heaven will multiply grace for you to walk hand in hand with God so that his purpose may be fulfilled in your life in the name of Jesus.

Pray

D. Anything that is bitter attracts demons.
Those involved in the ministry of deliverance do not have that kind of privilege, they cannot engage in it for few hours and go to bed. It can be dangerous. Heb. 12:15 says, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled”. Bitterness brings defilement. Pray that God will grant you dominion over bitterness in Jesus’ name.

I was invited to minister at a night vigil in a women’s programme few years ago. Through word of knowledge, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that many of the people present at the meeting were struggling with bitterness. When I made the altar call, I was expecting very few people but to my greatest surprise, almost all the people at that vigil responded to the call. Only two people stayed back; one a widow and the other an elderly woman. The Holy Spirit went further to say that the bitterness was towards their spouses while they were still at the altar. I made the call and my surprise knew no bound. This has a very weighty implication.

Nothing that is defiled will make it to the Promised Land, the heavenly Jerusalem. This is one of the things that neutralize efforts. These women were given to prayer and very committed to the things of God but with bitterness in their heart, all their effort boiled down to exercise in futility. By the time, we were through with the vigil where I gave them practical implications of their actions, they repented and were relieved.
