CELEBRATING THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST G

The Lord shall

Phil. 2:9-11, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

If it has a name, it must have a knee and if it has a knee, it must bow at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ. Everything created must bow at the name of Jesus Christ. We must learn to release the power that is in the name of Jesus to produce incredible results in our lives starting from this moment. There is the power dimension of the name of Jesus Christ that the average Christian does not tap into in their life time. I have seen incredible miracles happen at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, fantastic turnarounds. When you celebrate the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, great things happen.

Jesus has given us the authority to use his name in Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues. They will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” When you digest the fullness of the power that is in the name of Jesus Christ and you release it by faith, it ceases to be an ordinary decree. You set something in motion that is unstoppable. The Lordship of Jesus Christ is in that name. The name of Jesus Christ unlocks the anointing of Lordship.

In Acts 3:-10, “Now Peter and John went up together unto the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God; And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.” Here, we see an ugly situation at a place called Beautiful. It took someone who knew how to exercise faith in the name of Jesus Christ to bring a turnaround in that ugly situation.

Learn to deploy the power that is in the name of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth gives us access to his Lordship. One of the ways to celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is to use his name to produce miracles. Peter did not have to preach much after this incident before thousands of people surrendered their lives to Jesus. It is time for us to break into the miraculous and the thing that unlocks it is the name of Jesus Christ. Let’s learn to use it.

There is maximum power in the name, there is dominion in the name. Peter didn’t waste time; he reached out for the man and lifted him up. That is exactly how faith works. Every power must bow to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the way to release the anointing of lordship is to release the name of Jesus Christ. From today, whenever you use the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, expect wonders.

In Acts 3:16, Peter said, “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Peter told the people that the miracle was done by faith in the name of Jesus Christ. Do you want to see miracles? Exercise faith in the name of Jesus Christ.
