I have carried out a study on wounds and I discovered that ninety percent of the wounds people carry are self inflicted because they fail to recognize the technical dimensions of the word of God. The Bible makes it clear that the reason why people perish is not because of witchcraft or anything but because of lack of knowledge. If you study the Bible as a historian, then you have not studied the Bible. If you study the Bible as a theologian, you have not studied the Bible.
Until you understand the technical dimensions of the word of God, it does not become life. That is the problem with most Church goers today. A lot of pastors do not teach this anymore and that is why people take it lightly and then commit spiritual ‘harakiri’ (suicide) and then start asking questions, making matters worse or complicating issues.
The first thing to do for anyone who has missed it is to acknowledge his mistake. Until you acknowledge, you cannot repent. Without repentance, there cannot be restoration. Nobody can bribe God into submission. A lot of atrocities are being committed in the land and people are praying to God to bless the land. God does not work that way. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chro. 2:14). Three major things are required here:
- They must humble themselves
- Pray and seek the face of God
- Turn away from their wickedness
For repentance to be complete, three major things are required –
- A feeling of remorse
- You must hate that sin and turn away from it
- You must turn to God. If there is no remorse, there cannot be true repentance. It is not enough to say, O God, “I am sorry”. A lot of people stop at that level; it is not enough. Are you ready to turn away from sin and turn to God?
If there is no proper repentance, God cannot move. Isa. 59:1-2, “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Each time I study this I understand more the reason why some people embark on one hundred days’ fast and nothing happens except that they grow lean, mean and confused.
When God asked us to sanctify ourselves in accordance with Joshua 3:5, as we moved and started cleaning up, God began to move in this ministry; mind blowing testimonies and miracles started multiplying. For twenty-six days consecutively, the testimonies kept pouring in on a daily basis.
If you are in a wrong location, you will be devalued; your talent will be devalued. If you don’t say no to what is not good for you, God will not say yes to what is good for you. Wherever you park has become your promised land, you must not park. Have you ever tried to bring a fish out of water? Suddenly, the fish becomes sluggish but take it back to the water and immediately, the genius emerges. There is a place where everything you do will be celebrated. May you locate that place in the mighty name of Jesus.

- Lord, I ask that you dismantle and destroy every limitation set upon my destiny path and hindering me from being all you want me to be in the name of Jesus.
