The beauty of being baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues is that by the time you have prayed enough in the spirit, you will discover that the burden will lift; you will have a witness in your spirit and you will come to that point where Jesus said, Father, I thank you because I know that you have heard me. Take note that Jesus lived in the realm of divine communion with his Father 247. He was tuned to the frequency of heaven 247.
Many of us are too tuned to the frequency of the world that it is rather difficult for us to hear God even in the Church. It is the frequency to which you tune that you receive signals from. If you don’t tune to the frequency of heaven, you will not receive signals from God. The world is structured in such a way that if you are not careful, you will become too encumbered with things of this world, and become earthly minded and heavenly irrelevant.
If you tell me the kind of music you enjoy listening to, I will tell you where you are! A lot of Christians are not tuned to the frequency of heaven. Even in the Church, they are tuned to the frequency of other spirits. If you play worldly music in the Church, it will amaze you how Christians will react to it. Behind every work of art, there is a spirit. Take note of this. If it is not the Holy Spirit, it cannot tune you to the frequency of heaven because the Holy Spirit is the spirit of sanctification – the Holy Spirit of God. If your spirit is tuned to the Holy Spirit, the Father will hear you immediately you start praying. When you cry Father, heaven will not query you on the exact father you are calling upon.
There are two types of fathers:
1. The Father of Light.
James 1:17 says “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” He is also the Father of truth, the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of adoption, grace, and truth. Jesus Christ is the way, truth, and life (John 14:6).
2. The Father of lies.
John 8:44 says “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” If anyone tells lies, it speaks volume about the spirit in that person. You need not be a deliverance minister before you discern it. As a young lady, if your suitor is a liar, please run!
