Leadership is learning to live. Anyone who is not learning is not living. Your vote is an expression of your decision to align. Before you align, ensure that you are aligning with the righteous. Any alignment with the unrighteous is catastrophic and will end up in disaster. Some people will end up in hell because they yielded their will to a wrong platform. A vote for satan will lead to hell while a vote for Jesus will take you to heaven. Every decision has a price. The crime is not in falling but in failing to rise and rationalizing evil.
One of the best definitions of God I learnt was back then from catechism in my Roman Catholic days drafted by very wise and seasoned lawyers in my native tongue. Who is God? God is a Spirit. The One who is greater than the greatest, the self existing One that does not have a beginning that does not have an ending. He is also the creator of the universe. The one who is sovereign over all. Very apt; very correct. I have pursued theological education to doctorate degree and can say categorically that this definition is spot on. However, I do not agree with their categorization of sin.
There is no small sin and there is no big sin. A lot of people grow up with this mentality of small and big sin. Sin consciousness was there but there is no big sin, there is no small sin. Any sin is enough to make one miss heaven.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Rev. 21:8
Something as little as being fearful or lying is capable of sending people to hell.
Today, there is modern day idolatry even in the Church. It is so easy to raise modern day idolaters in the Church. That is one of the weaknesses of the prosperity message – give me your gold and I will make you a god. Modern day idolatry is loving money above God including using God to get things. Anything you place side by side God in your heart has become your god. You need therefore be very careful.
Pray –
- Lord, please help me. Deliver me in the name of Jesus. Anything that is capable of sealing my fate in the wrong place, I ask you O God, do not allow it to happen in the mighty name of Jesus.
- May I never be classified among the idolaters, the abominable or the wicked in the name of Jesus.
- I yield my will to your will. I align with you O God and I ask you to guide me on the path of righteousness. Establish me in holiness, righteousness and your wisdom. Supernaturally empower me to make heaven at last in Jesus’ name.
- Make it impossible for me to miss you O Lord. You have gone to prepare a place for me, please prepare me for that place. Where you are is where I want to be. Prepare me O God in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let your name be magnified. I trust you to work out your plans for me. Show me your loving merciful kindness. Remove every error in my knowledge of you in the name of Jesus.
- Make me to know you. Make me to fall in love with you over and over again in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Help me to love you above all else in my heart in the name of Jesus.
