The Lord told me that a lot of people were wounded in many ways through the year. Some of these wounds are self inflicted. You need to own up. When the wound is self inflicted, it hurts but you need to tell yourself the truth. We need to address this very fundamental thing that Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. Through the period of this programme, we will be visiting the cross daily. Remember, that if you remove your eyes from the cross, if you stray from the cross, your Christianity will be weak because the divine prescription for everything the devil has done against humanity or will do or can do against humanity still remains the cross of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
Gen.3:15
What brought about the wound? Snake in the garden! How do people inflict wounds upon themselves – by believing the lie of the devil above the word of God, in other words, any time you magnify the lies of the devil above the word of God. This is not the problem of God, it is your own problem and so it is self inflicted. The fall of man was never the problem of God, it was the problem of man. Man chose to obey the snake above the word of God and when he fell, he began to look for whom to blame. This was the origin of buck passing.
Unfortunately, man has not recovered from it. Wherever you go you find people looking for those who are responsible for their problems; they move from one prophet to another who will see vision for them. If you are still patronizing charlatans, then you are still a baby Christian. If you cannot hear God, you have a long way to go. You need to desire a closer walk with God so that God will open your eyes to show you deep things you never knew existed. That is part of the blessings of open heavens. Whatever God cannot show you, you don’t need to know.
I believe that one of the things that God will grant us during this programme is revelation. He will speak to you because you are tuned to the frequency of heaven. You will download the signals from heaven. You will not hear the voice of the stranger.
Make this confession –
- I will never hear the voice of the stranger again. I will not walk by the voice of the stranger.
- No power can manipulate my mind contrary to the purpose of God for my destiny.
- Anything the enemy is using to afflict me I come in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth against you today. I raise the blood of Jesus against you and I overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I overthrow you. I bind you and cast you into the abyss. I forbid your operation, thus far you come, you go no further.
- I lift the banner of the Lord against you spirit of manipulation in the name of Jesus Christ. Let the thunder of God’s voice silence every voice of the adversary and neutralize it.
- Lord, I ask that you position me to hear your voice and to celebrate the precious Holy Spirit in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
