Things that we are completely liberated from because of the finished work of Christ on the cross: –
6. Fear.
This is one of the things that the devil uses to steal the joy of many.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Isa. 41:10
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Psa. 27:1
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”. We are liberated from the spirit of fear. Fear is the police of the enemy.
2 Tim. 1:7
Pray –
- I plead the blood of Jesus against you spirit of fear. I overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. In the name of Jesus, I bind you and cast you into the abyss. I destroy you and destroy your works. I terminate your operations.
- You have no part in me. You have no power over me. You have no unsettled claims against my destiny. All have been settled on the cross in Jesus’ name.
- I lift up the banner of the Lord and I declare my eternal dominion over the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name.
7. Sorrow and depression.
These are bad and dangerously wicked spirits called the spirits of the pit.
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.”
Isa. 53:4
“And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.”
Isa. 61:5
“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”
Phil. 4:4
Pray –
- Come against the spirit of sorrow and declare no more sorrow, no more sighing. In the place of sorrow, declare joy in the Holy Ghost in the mighty name of Jesus.
- The joy of the Lord is my strength. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away forever.
- I overthrow you the spirit of sorrow, I bind you and cast you into the abyss. I destroy your works and terminate your operations in Jesus’ name.
8. Premature death or fear of it.
“With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation”
Psa. 91:16
“There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.”
Exo. 23:26
None of us shall cast our young before the time.
Pray –
- With long life the Lord will satisfy me and show me his salvation. Long life is my heritage because Jesus came and died for me that I might life and have abundant life. Abundant life is my portion and the portion of every member of my family in the mighty name of Jesus.
