There are strange fires everywhere but there is the fire of the Holy Ghost. The fire of the Holy Ghost is a pure fire. Our God is a consuming fire. If you are not serving a consuming fire, you are not serving the living God. It is the fire of divine presence, fire of his presence not the fire of your presence.
This fire burns by divine connection. It gives supernatural empowerment to overturn and overthrow, to put out every strange fire that is kindled not only in the lives of people but also in the nations of the world.
Fire magnifies influence. You don’t need any title when you carry the fire of God’s presence. Some years back, I travelled to the USA for vacation where I could be alone with God. My Sister and her husband took me to Church on a Sunday where we had a great time in the presence of God. As soon as we left, they took me to a second Church for another service where a guest minister, a prophetess who was full of fire ministered. When it was time for offering, I walked out of the back row where I sat to give an offering and as soon as she sighted me, she started prophesying and making declarations into my life. She went on and on and at the end of the service, almost everyone came asking me to say a word of prayer for them.
By the time we got home, the Pastor of the Church called to request that I minister at the next Sunday service. Unfortunately, that was the day I was to travel back home. Fire will announce you; you don’t really need any title. I appeal to you to desire this fire.
The fire of the presence of God is a judgment fire. If you have any idol, the fire will judge it. It is very deep. You don’t worship God from afar and carry the fire of his presence. Outer court Christianity cannot give you the fire of his presence. The moment you start talking about the fire of God’s presence, you must get into the holy of holies. That is where the glory fire is, it is never on the surface and that is why few people carry it. But it is meant for all. Jesus said, “But tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49B).
Fire makes you a witness.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.
Acts 1:8 KJV
John the Baptist referred to Jesus as one who baptizes in Holy Ghost and fire (Matt. 3:11). A lot of people are, however, contented with just the baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. The enrolment level in your walk with God is the salvation of your soul. Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the matriculation while the fire baptism of the Holy Ghost is the real thing. You don’t graduate from it because he takes you from one level to higher levels. You can’t stop it even when you want to. It burns in the bones. How we need this fire!
The reason why you are still having nightmares is because the fire is not burning while you are asleep. The fire of the presence of God burns continually and makes you a commanding officer, red neck in the realm of the spirit. If you are connected to the fire burning in this ministry, you are connected to the purest fire you can ever have. It is a holy fire. It is not a strange fire. We have seen the fire deal with dagon, molech, cancer and other stubborn issues.
Pray –
- Ask God to put off every strange fire that is kindled in your life. Pray that his fire will fall and that you want to connect with the pure fire of the Holy Spirit that is burning in this ministry. (This fire will make you a global champion).
- Lord, please help me. Do not allow me to cheat myself. Let this fire burn. Envelop me with your glory fire. I stretch for this fire.
- Jesus, you are the baptizer in Holy and fire. I need it desperately to keep the wild beasts away from me. Let this fire envelop me and when I am asleep, let the fire of your presence continue to burn in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Do not allow anything that is capable of overwhelming me to cross my path in the name of Jesus.
- Let the fire of your presence fall even without my command to consume any evil projection in my environment.
- Whatever the enemy has configured to work against your purpose for my destiny, let the fire of your presence consume it right now. Let it burn to ashes. Let every weapon of the adversary melt. Let the nations quake at the fire of your presence.
- Make me an igniter in the name of Jesus. Make me unreachable, untouchable, indestructible by the powers of darkness. Make my family unreachable, untouchable, indestructible by the powers of darkness.
- Envelop me, O God, with your glory fire in the name of Jesus. Consolidate this fire, let it continue to burn all the days of my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
