There is a lot of deception going on today. The devil loves to kindle strange fire in order to contaminate, confuse, deceive, derail and demote in order to destroy. But you can say NO! That is why the Bible told us to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thes. 5:22). It is in your own interest to do so because the evil you condone will consume you! This is not a curse; it is a self acting law. Evil will eventually self-destruct. That is why wise people don’t condone it and that is why the Bible says the son the Father loves, he chastises many times (Heb. 12:6).
True love does not condone nonsense. The Bible says, “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod correction shall drive it far from him” (Prov. 22:15). The world is sick. A lot of people are succeeding to fail. The greatest requirement of leadership is direction. Any leader who does not know the way cannot take you anywhere. If there is any way that you have ever tolerated evil or still condoning it, you need deliverance.
Pray –
- Lord, please search my heart. Wherever I need deliverance, deliver me. I don’t want to be part of the rot, I don’t want to sink, I don’t want to stink, I don’t want to go down. Please help me in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, rend the heavens and come down. Let the pure fire of your presence put off every strange fire that has been kindled in your Church – strange fire of error, strange fire of deception, strange fire of ethnicity, strange fire of idolatry in the Church, strange fire of wrong doctrine, strange fire of defilement, materialism, humanistic philosophies, earth-bound Christianity and strange fire of lion and eagle.
- Father, put off every strange fire of wrong models, earth bound metaphors leading nowhere. Let your pure fire be kindled O God and let your glory be revealed and let your name be magnified.
- Transform your Church. Let there be pure revival. Let your pure fire burn – pure fire of holiness, pure fire of righteousness, pure fire of wisdom, pure fire of celebration of Jesus Christ the Saviour, pure fire that leads to heaven. Let it spread in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Purify your Church. Sanctify your people. Draw us closer to you, O God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Remove every error in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Remove every erroneous belief and all true beliefs not amounting to knowledge in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, cleanse your Church of all ignorance with the precious blood of your dear Son. Revive your Church again. Redeem the redeemed and deliver your people from error in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Re-direct the leaders who have taken the wrong steps to break away and flee from every appearance of evil in the name of Jesus Christ and never to tolerate what you hate in the name of Jesus Christ.
Fire will cause you to sparkle. Fire takes away the dross from the silver. Silver in the Bible signifies the redemptive wisdom of God. Prov. 25:4, “Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer”. True beauty comes from within, it is not in make-up. True beauty is from the inside out. There is beauty in holiness. I have seen this severally during deliverance sessions. When the pure fire of the presence of God falls, it burns away the fake beauty in people, they get so purified and transformed. The first thing they lose is their ‘diamond eye’ which they received from water spirit. They use this eye to seduce. If such people encounter people who do not carry pure fire, they will easily fall prey. Your true self is your spirit. Who are you in the spirit realm? Your true size is your truth size. How much of the presence of God do you carry? That is your true size, it is not your bank account. When they lose that glow from the waters, their true beauty emerges; even their complexion changes. There is beauty in holiness.
