We should not waste time and become ceremonial; we should be part of the congregation of those who worship God in spirit and in truth. You are part of that congregation. When the trumpet shall sound, it will not be business as usual; every one of us in that congregation will be lifted; a glorious lift. What a wonderful expectation! That is where we should fix our eyes and not on too much attachment to the things of this world because too much attachment to the things of the world will debar many from flying when the trumpet sounds.
It is not good to be earthbound. To be earthbound is to miss the sound of the trumpet. That is exactly what will happen to many. They are going to be trapped in this dusty earth. Many will be stranded in this dusty earth.
Pray –
- Lord, please do not allow me to be so entangled that I will not hear the sound of the trumpet when it sounds. Do not allow me to be so encumbered with the things of this world that I will not hear the sound of the trumpet. Do not allow me to be stranded in this dusty land in the name of Jesus. O God, do not allow me to be stranded in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, deliver me from lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, pride of life. Help me to be heavenly minded and earthly useful in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Grant me grace never to lose my pilgrim experience through compromise with the things in this world in the name of Jesus.
- Grant me grace to live above only. Help me to love you above anything else and to love what you love and to hate what you hate with passion in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Help me to pursue you with passion, to redeem the time and to invest my life in things that have eternal value in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I depend on you to finish this journey well and to finish strong. I receive your endorsement in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Lord, help me. Make it impossible for me to miss heaven at last in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- I depend on the finished work of your dear Son, Jesus Christ, to make it one hundred percent. I rely on Christ; what he did on mount Calvary is my guaranteed ticket for the rapture.
- May I never be stranded in this dusty land in the name of Jesus Christ. I pray for myself, for every member of my family and for every member of Holy Ghost Fellowship International. Make it impossible for us to be stranded in this dusty land in the name of Jesus.
- Grant us grace to invest our lives wisely and to make hay while the sun still shines in Jesus’ name. Amen.

One of the game plans of the devil is to keep people distracted. To be distracted is to be deceived. His first game plan was deception. Every tragedy in life came as a result of deception in the garden and his last card is also deception. The painful thing is that today, there is deception even in the Church. Some people who set out not to deceive have been deceived and are busy preaching erroneous messages. A lot of messages today are not preparing people for heaven. Over 60% of the messages on the pulpit today have nothing to do with preparing souls for heaven. Everything is about money and Church projects; “give me your gold and I will make you a god!” They have taken the message to another extreme. When you stretch truth to an extent or add colour to it, you will produce error. Truth is clear. Whatever you try to apply to it will produce error.
