SEVEN THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE FIRE OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD
5. Fire of the presence of God magnifies influence.
“And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him … And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region about Galilee”.
Mark 1:23-28 KJV
One ministry where you cannot operate without the fire of God’s presence is the deliverance ministry. It takes fire to cast out demons. May we see more of this manifestation in our Cathedrals in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Fire will make you smell fine.
Everyone has a spiritual scent. The name of Jesus is an ointment poured forth (Songs 1:3). Remember that it is the fire of his presence not yours. My God is a consuming fire. May this fire break forth in your life wherever you go. May all the things that challenge the image and glory of God in your life burn to ashes in the mighty name of Jesus. This fire makes you irresistible, unreachable, untouchable and indestructible by the power of darkness. From today, may the Lord put so much fire in your eyes that no agent of darkness will be able to look directly into your eyes in the name of Jesus. You need the fire dimension of God’s presence in the environment where you operate, a wicked and contaminated environment. Ministry is not funfair, it is warfare.
Pray –
- Jesus, you are the baptizer in Holy Ghost and fire, baptize me with Holy Ghost and fire. I want my Christianity to be supernatural, make my Christianity supernatural. Put your fire in my bones in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord in Jesus’ name.
7. The fire of the presence of God is a protective fire.
It is the greatest protective hedge anyone can have.
“When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shinning of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain”.
Isaiah 4:4-6 KJV
It is a glory fire, a defence. It is a purifying fire that will purge all filth. There is a level of holiness you cannot attain until you have been purified by fire. Deliverance is a fiery ministry; demons won’t leave until they encounter superior fire.

- Father, intensify the fire of your presence in my life. Envelop me with your glory fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
