Wherever you find idolatry you will find extreme wickedness. The problem of Africa is not really corruption, poverty or insecurity, the problem of Africa is deeply spiritual and can be described with one word – idolatry. Fix idolatry and things will turn around for good, you will no longer have the throne of the wicked, you will no longer have the throne of iniquity. Idolatry is perversion of worship. Anywhere you have worship perverted, you will have corruption. Corruption works by lust (2 Peter 1:4) – lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life. As a young woman trusting God for marriage, please ensure that you don’t get unequally yoked with someone who can derail your destiny. There are destiny hunters out there; there are star hunters all over the place. Be careful.
Pray –
- Prophesy the end of every evil tendency, trend, and throne of iniquity over your life. Declare that evil must come to an end.
- Anything that is working contrary to the purposive will of God for my destiny, I prophesy your end today. You will no longer operate in my life, family, ministry, business, in Jesus’ name.
- I prophesy the end of the throne of iniquity set over this nation in the name of Jesus. Darkness will never rule over light again in the name of Jesus. Darkness must dissolve and disappear in Jesus’ name.
There are various dimensions of idolatry – pride is idolatry of self, tribalism is the idolatry of your birth place which you never influenced in any way. God never took permission from you to decide where you came from. As a child of God, you must have nothing to do with tribalism, we are ambassadors of Christ.
“We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee. Do not abhor us, for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us. Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things”.
Jeremiah 14:20-22 KJV
Alignment with idolatry is alignment with iniquity. After you have risen to the pinnacle in your career, what next? It is the spirit that propels you to the market place that will take you home. There is a spirit called the spirit of the world. If you operate this spirit, you can become the president of the greatest nation in the world but that spirit will ensure that you end up in the home of your father. Everyone will end up in the home of their real owner. That is why we must be very careful of how we align.
Alignment is to yield your will, to submit to someone or something. What spirit do you submit to? The spirit you align with will determine your course in life and ultimately determine where you will end. If the Lord is not your Shepherd, you cannot say, surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Every sheep ends up in the house of their true owner.
