Motivational preachers specialize in propagating error capitalizing on the carnal unregenerated mind of fallen man. The greatest problem of man is man’s will in union with the will of the snake. Because man submitted his will to the will of the snake, man acquired a diseased perception of reality incapable of making right choices. Though salvation is free, it is not cheap; the fallen nature of man does not accept such things because it seems too simple. That was why the Jews missed Jesus when he came because he was born in a manger.
Man’s will in union with the will of the snake in the garden is called the unified intelligence. That is the greatest undoing of man. This was, however, settled on the cross. Why? It is because it was on the cross that man’s will crossed with God’s will and for the first time, man submitted. Jesus said in John 4:34, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work”. Man’s definition of success today has been perverted and the Church which is supposed to straighten this has become the greatest culprit. That is why the world is the way it is. The amount of error that is coming from pulpits can no longer be tolerated.

It is so easy to preach off point. It is so easy to preach outside the will of God. It is so easy to preach in the flesh, motivate people and get applauds. Many of the people who are learning to preach start from the eagle; you don’t even need to be a preacher to do this, all that is required is an eloquent speaker who can motivate. If someone calls you a vulture or an owl, I can bet that you will immediately resist.
What is the difference between a vulture, an owl and an eagle? They all belong to the same category. I have been in the ministry of deliverance for some thirty years and I have seen all these creatures manifested in the place of deliverance but I have never seen a demon which is able to manifest a dove or a lamb. If you have a dream where you see an eagle chasing you, will you call you that a good dream? Those who preach the eagle and lion theology cannot produce a true worshipper. You can produce a disciple for yourself with such teachings but never a disciple of Christ.

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. God brought the children of Israel out from Egypt bearing them on eagles’ wings but stated that for them to be his people, his peculiar treasure, a holy nation, they must obey his instructions and keep his covenants. God is sovereign over all. God can use an unclean beast but will never use its uncleanness. God can use an unclean vessel but will never use its uncleanness. The wing of an eagle is not an eagle, take note. God needed to get the children of Israel out of filth, out of the headquarters of idolatry, out of the land of captivity, and into a place where he could minister to them so that they could become what he wanted them to be (this is called the process). They needed to be cleaned up, and that cleaning depended on their obedience. God will not violate your will in order to lift you. God cannot help you beyond the level of your persuasion. Nobody can. Your will is your right to choose. Every wise person learns to surrender his will to the will of the Father knowing that he cannot make right decisions on his own. I know this very well that is why before I take any tough decision, I always go on my knees. That was why Jesus Christ the pattern Son said, my meat is to do the will of him who has sent me. His will was united to the will of the Father. The greatest prayer you can pray is
- Father, let thy will be done in every facet of my life, Lord, teach me to walk with you.
